The Role: You will lead a production team to drive a culture of excellence, focus, and collaboration. You will foster a positive culture and lead through example for all those you work with. Your team’s success will depend on your ability to ensure production schedules and quality targets are achieved across the department. You will deliver all department scorecard objectives, own processes, and ensure standardization across the department. Continuous improvement, interdepartmental communication, and driving the Ford Production System as a change agent will also be core functions in this role. Responsibilities Perform supervisory production employees. Perform basic administration responsibilities such as vacation scheduling, attendance, payroll/timekeeping, and report writing. Coach safety, quality and productivity to ensure objectives are met through following standardized work. Use data analysis to support problem solving and decision making. Capable of assigning work to unionized hourly workforce and holding employees accountable for following processes pertaining to daily work assignments in terms safety, quality, and throughput. Optimize throughput in accordance with budgets and cost objectives. Monitor production process to ensure compliance and capability, ANDON, control points and other data. Through Process Confirmation, verify that the line is running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts. Using a continuous improvement mindset to solve quality, production, safety and people problems in your zone. Meet FTT, inventory, cost, scrap, supply, and tooling expense targets. Create a collaborative and supportive work environment for the team members to excel. Implement training for all team members. Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Education High School Diploma. Experience Minimum two (2) years in manufacturing, supervisory or quality roles. Immediate and confirmed eligibility to travel to the United States for training. Successful candidates must be able to work all shifts; days, afternoons, midnights, and/or weekends, as needed. Preferred Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related engineering field of study. Experience Supervisory experience in high-speed manufacturing. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and constraint management principles. Proficiency in Microsoft (Word/Excel/Outlook). Prior experience managing a unionized work force. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Excellent organizational and administrative skills. Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict management skills. For more information, please visit Responsibilities Manage all Material Planning & Logistics (MP&L) functions, including forward model, engineering change control, scheduling, supply chain, inventory, distribution, stockpiling, balance outs, and Ford Customer Service Division (FCSD) operations. Ensure just‑in‑time material flow and uninterrupted production by overseeing customer releases, production schedules, inventory, and obsolescence management. Perform monthly plant audits, oversee the cycle verification program, and review premium freight expedites for improvement opportunities. Lead and develop the departmental team: coach employees on operational issues, career development, and performance; conduct performance reviews; ensure training compliance; and manage Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) access approvals. Prioritize key issues, allocate resources, and ensure Material Planning & Logistics (MP&L) representation in quality campaign and monthly inventory meetings. As a member of the In-House Electronics Team, you will work on delivering hardware functional testing capability for our Electronic Control Units (ECU) at our module factories and environmental labs throughout the ECU development lifecycle. During the module development lifecycle, your focus will vary from definition of hardware test requirements and test systems early on, to implementing and bringing up test readiness/capability and stabilization/validation of test methods, to continuous improvement and support of quality issues from warranty or vehicle factories during mass production.
