We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dairy Farm Worker to join our team. This position is for someone who enjoys hands-on work, working with animals, and being part of a small, supportive farm environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a physically demanding environment. Duties • Feed cows and calves. • Rake and bed up stalls. • Monitor animal behaviour and health, reporting any concerns to management. • Operate a skid steer/tractor/feed mixer safely and efficiently when completing farm tasks. • Keep accurate records of herd movements, health status, and feeding schedules. • Clean barn and equipment. • Utilize hand tools and power tools for various farming tasks. Requirements • Valid driver's licence. • Must have reliable transportation. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Must be a Canadian citizen. Assets • Previous experience in dairy farming and operating tractors/farm machinery is preferred, but not required. • Mechanical knowledge is a plus, particularly related to farm machinery and equipment maintenance. • Familiarity with Lely barn robot products considered an asset. Wage $17.20-$25.00 per hour, based on experience. Hours • 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM • 3-4 days per week • Flexible schedule, some weekends required Job Type: Part-time Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-11-01
