Scope Trench Limited is looking for a Production Planner/Scheduler to join the team in our Maybrook Facility in Scarborough. The Production Planner/Scheduler will be the orchestrator of our production flow—ensuring that every project is planned, reviewed and scheduled smoothly from planning to delivery. You’ll coordinate across departments to optimize schedules, minimize delays, and meet customer expectations. A Snapshot of Your Day As the Operational Procurement Manager, you will be at the heart of the manufacturing process, ensuring the seamless flow of materials and services essential for production continuity. Your role is driven by MRP-based planning, requiring precision, agility, and deep understanding of manufacturing dynamics. You will manage procurement activities for raw materials, components, consumables, and production-related services, ensuring alignment with production schedules and operational targets. Responsibilities Oversee daily purchasing operations to support production schedules, MRP outputs, and inventory targets. Oversee the end-to-end purchase-to-pay process carried out by operational buyers and other internal departments, including purchase order placement, logistics coordination, invoice handling, and final payment execution. Ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders for raw materials, components, indirect goods and services. Collaborate with production planning, inventory control, and engineering teams to align procurement with manufacturing needs. Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure reliability, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Monitor supplier performance metrics (OTD, quality, responsiveness) and drive corrective actions and supplier development. Support supplier audits, qualification, and compliance processes in collaboration with Quality Assurance and EHS. Coordinate with warehouse, logistics, and receiving teams to manage inbound deliveries and resolve discrepancies. Optimize inventory levels to balance cost and availability, minimizing stockouts, excess inventory, and production disruptions. Implement and maintain procurement strategies for Just-In-Time (JIT), Kanban, and other lean manufacturing systems. Track and report procurement KPIs such as cost savings, PO cycle time, supplier performance, and inventory turnover. Prepare regular reports and dashboards for senior management and cross-functional stakeholders. Accountable for internal and external audits, risk assessments, and compliance related to procurement activities. Coordinate with shipping, transportation, and warehousing teams to ensure efficient inbound flow and storage of goods. Lead and develop a team of buyers and procurement specialists with a focus on manufacturing excellence. Provide training, coaching, training and performance feedback to ensure team effectiveness and alignment with operational goals. Promote a culture of continuous improvement, lean thinking, and operational excellence across procurement functions. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM, APICS) are highly desirable. Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, BOMs, production planning, and MRP-driven procurement. Previous SAP experience is mandatory; familiarity with other ERP systems is a plus. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. Expertise in Supplier Relationship Management, Inventory Optimization, Cost Analysis & Budgeting. Strong grasp of Risk Management, Compliance, and Procurement Governance.     Overview
    We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Finance team. The Accountant will assist with various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting senior staff in managing day-to-day accounting and finance functions.     Your Tasks:
    General Accounting: Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end accounting tasks. Preparing journal entries, reconciliations and working papers for financial review of senior management. Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and ensure timely payment and collection of accounts. Data Entry: Accurately input financial transactions into SAP and ensure data integrity. Financial Reporting Support: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.     Requirements:

This is a unionized position. Your Tasks: Inspect parts and materials as per engineering drawings. Verify dimensions, specifications, and quality parameters. Conduct inspections of semi‑finished products. Ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures. Perform final inspections of manufactured products. Verify compliance with engineering drawings and shop order documentation. Assemble documentation related to inspections. Review and ensure accuracy of documentation for sales orders. Conduct process audits and ISO system audits. Write non‑conformance reports and update risk registers. Perform non‑destructive tests as required (ultrasound, roughness, etc.). Verify and maintain calibration of inspection equipment. Use SAP to verify drawings, documents, and release units. Verify Bills of Materials (BOM) for parts and hardware. Update procedures, quality alerts, and the TCC Wiki. Ensure traceability of manufacturing processes in SAP. Inspect coils before curing and verify cable dimensions. Verify coil parameters (height, turns, circumference, centering, voids, etc.). Conduct Hipot tests and resin drip process inspections. Coordinate with order management and production for customer requirements. Provide manufacturing photos as needed. Record inspection data in QA logbooks and Excel sheets. Maintain records of quality issues, scrap materials, and inspection results. Provide inspection sheets and support to operators. Conduct Gauge R&R studies and ensure compliance with checklists. Perform other duties as assigned by QA Supervisor or QA Manager. Requirements: Graduate of recognized post‑secondary degree or diploma in Quality Assurance OR Graduate of recognized post‑secondary degree or diploma with Certified Quality Technician (CQT) is required. Familiarity with quality management systems standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is required. Certified Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 is preferred. 2‑3 years related experience in the Quality Assurance field is required. Ability to use mechanical measuring instruments, micrometer, Vernier, tape measure, height gauge, etc. is required. Ability to understand and interpret mechanical drawings is required. Experience using Microsoft Office applications Excel, Word, Power Point is required. Familiarity with Non‑conformance reporting, NCR Quality Notifications in SAP or Intelex. Scope We are looking for a Tester to join our Test Lab located in East Toronto, ON. This role will require work with high voltage electrical products and testing. This is a unionized position. Your Tasks Test execution and conduct high voltage tests according to established procedures and standards as determined by Technical Documentation and guidance of test lab managing team. This includes setting up and calibrating test equipment, applying high voltage, and monitoring equipment performance. Accurately record test data for analysis. This includes measurements of voltage, current, and time, as well as any observations during the test. Prepare test reports that include a summary of the test procedures, data, and results. Communicate results effectively to engineers, other team members and supervisors. Ensure and follow all safety procedures when handling high voltage equipment. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and ensuring that all safety interlocks and procedures are followed. Also, verify the safety and efficiency of test lab environment for other team members. Provide support and assistance in laboratory environments with assembly of test products and objects. Monitor the condition of test equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition. Report any issues or anomalies detected during testing to the appropriate personnel. Support the team in achieving daily production quotas. Requirements Community College diploma in Electrical/Electronic or associate’s electrical certification is required. Knowledge of high voltage products and production processes preferable. Active listening, effective communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills and flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment. Experience using test instruments such as Impedance Analyzer, Voltage Breakdown Tester, Power Wattmeter & Micro Ohmmeter is preferable. 2+ years relevant experience with hands-on experience working on LV or HV circuit preferred. Critical thinking and knowledge in electromagnetic theory and circuit analysis is required. Proficiency with the use of Microsoft Office and Windows operating system is required. Familiarity with LabView and other industry-wide lab software would strongly be preferred. Ability to read and interpret electrical AC & DC schematics is required. Physical ability to lift and move heavy electrical test equipment or components (up to 40 lbs) is required. Working at height and using elevating platforms is a mandatory requirement of this job. Able to work on a shift rotation as required. Excellent proficiency in English including demonstrated ability to follow verbal/written instructions and complete technical paperwork when needed.
