    About the Role:Fitzrovia is seeking to hire a Manager, Systems and Project Controls to join our team. The candidate will work closely with other members of the Development, Construction and Finance teams, and will play a key role in implementing and managing the project controls, policies, and procedures for the delivery platforms for project management, financials and estimating.At Fitzrovia, we pride ourselves on being an entrepreneurial and innovative organization, which makes this role well suited for a candidate looking to roll up their sleeves, wear multiple hats and contribute to all aspects of real estate investment and development.Key Responsibilities:Document training material on various systems use such as Procore, Jonas, SmartBarrel, etc., for the various user groups.Design and implement the training programs in properly utilizing the various systems used in the business daily operations.Design and implement the proper systems control and workflows across all Fitzrovia projects.Oversee data entry, to ensure all items follow Fitzrovia’s policies and procedures.Manage systems users and vendors directory and permissions. Process users and vendors requests on a timely manner.Support and troubleshoot any Procore, Smart Barrel or other systems issues. Engage with the internal/external relevant teams to document and correct those issues.Perform data validation for the various tools, trackers and reports being used by the Construction team (Procore tools, SmartBarrel timesheets, concrete and rebar trackers, budget updates, etc.)Prepare reports to track items status for the various Procore tools such as RFIs, coordination issues, submittals, deficiencies, change orders, invoices, etc.Oversee SmartBarrel training programs with the site teams. Perform data validation for the weekly labour timesheets across all job sites.Support project managers in setting up the detailed schedule of values in Procore for all awarded contracts.Oversee the change events and orders in Procore. Make sure these contain all the required back up documentation and follow the established business policies and procedures.Support with the Construction and Development team monthly billing process. Ensure invoices are entered properly and on time into the system as per the business requirements.Support the Construction team with entering invoices into Procore. Ensure invoices are assigned to the proper invoice review workflow. Follow-up with the approvers to ensure they complete their review on time.Support setting up the initial budget estimates in Procore and manage the monthly budget adjustments during the entire project cycle.Prepare Procore financials data extract for monthly reporting and reconciliation practices.Monitor the projects performance by analyzing actual data to prepare custom analytics reports.Support the Construction leadership team with the elaboration of Fitzrovia’s Construction Management operations manual and learning center. Test new Procore features, to ensure that enhancements meet the business requirements and project controls polies.Roll out new Procore features and update training materials accordingly.Participate in project financials monthly system’s reconciliation process.Configure systems settings and develop controls to ensure that corporate procedures are being adhered to.Perform data conversion and data migration according to the business needs.Identify opportunities to automate processes, or otherwise innovate on business operations using application features.Qualifications and Experiences:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Architecture, Engineering, Project Management or a related field.Experience utilizing Procore and Jonas will be considered an asset.Power BI/Tableau experience will be considered an asset.Strong mathematical and computer skills.Strong project management and financial reporting skills.Experience in project controls.Analytical, research and report writing skills.Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines.Strong teamwork, decision & problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.Self-motivated, curious, responsive, and result driven.Able to learn new systems quickly.Ability to read and interpret construction related documents.Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office programs.
