    * Knowledge of and practical experience in area classification, low and medium voltage distribution systems, motors, UPS's, PLC's, EHT, etc.

    The next iteration of our integrated approach relates to the planned export of our natural gas to markets in growing economies overseas.     THE POSITION PCE is currently searching for a Senior Emissions Reduction Engineer to join our Production & Facilities team. The role presents a unique opportunity for the selected candidate to independently craft an emission reduction strategy. The position will be responsible for emissions related data collection, analysis, reporting, and project management.     JOB SUMMARY:
    Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, the Manufacturing Engineering Specialist is responsible for the estimating and execution of a broad range of manufacturing projects from commercial and custom manufactured parts to sophisticated nuclear equipment.
    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Prepare detailed cost estimates for custom-engineered manufacturing projects including electro-mechanical automation, tooling, welded fabrications, machining, field services, testing. Provide manufacturing inputs to the design process, participate in manufacturability reviews to identify manufacturing cost or schedule improvements during product design. Plan and lead jobs through manufacturing including machining, welding, assembly and test. Prepare Manufacturing Bills of Material from engineering BOM’s, on JD Edwards MRP system. Perform make vs buy evaluations. Requisition purchased parts and materials for in-house manufactured items. Manage design changes and maintain configuration of the design during manufacturing. Lead and participate in project meetings related to schedules and budgets including meetings with customers. Prepare schedule inputs for projects including task planning to optimize lead times. Troubleshoot production problems with design and manufacturing teams, including recommending dispositions for non-conformances. Lead or participate in teams carrying out work at customer sites.     QUALIFICATIONS:
    College/University graduate in an Engineering discipline OR a certificate in a skilled trade. 5+ Years Experience in custom manufacturing Knowledge and experience with machining (conventional + CNC/CAM), fitting/welding, assembly and materials including stainless steels, Al-bronze, nickel alloys, zirconium, etc. Knowledge or experience with metrology, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerances (GD&T), blueprint reading. High level of proficiency with data analysis and management including spreadsheet tools, MRP systems, etc. Demonstrated ability in project planning / execution, including development of processes / procedures and process improvements. Very strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS:
    Basic knowledge of common non-destructive examination (NDE) techniques.     Must be local to Sarnia or willing to relocate. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent professional qualification. Minimum 5 years of mechanical engineering experience in the oil & gas industry is must. Advanced knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, especially for technical and business communications.

    Senior Production Engineer Calgary, AB Introduction Our client, a producer of Oil and Natural Gas in Western Canada, is seeking an addition to their Production Engineering team. Based in Calgary, Alberta the successful candidate will be expected to develop effective working relationships with diverse groups within the company and work collaboratively with third parties to achieve results.
    Responsibilities Review current production rates and downtime and communicate with the field regarding well, facility and cost performance. Detail well reviews with a focus on maintaining base production rate and reducing operating costs.
    Well evaluations including log interpretation, decline analysis, and stimulation recommendation. Provide technical support to optimize wells, facilities, and infrastructure, identifying and recommending opportunities to enhance well productivity, equipment reliability, and equipment utilization, reduce operating expenses and apply innovative and cost-effective plans. Production operation evaluations including pipeline modelling, compression optimization, oil and gas treating and processing, metering and measurement. Provide budgetary and AFE quality cost estimates for production, facilities and pipeline projects.
    Maintain effective communication with team members, stakeholders and field operations. Procure equipment and materials. Requirements 7-10+ years’ experience in the oil and gas industry.
    Demonstrated leadership experience managing direct reports.
    Previous well and pipeline optimization experience.
    Professional Engineering designation with APEGA or ASET.
    Experience with FastPiper software would be considered an asset.
    Self-motivated and energetic, proven ability to collaborate with team members.
    Ability to be decisive, and safely and efficiently execute projects.
