In the role of Environmental Services Houseperson Attendant, we are looking for candidates who are customer service oriented, organized, able to use many types of equipment and enjoy cleaning with attention to detail and embrace our high levels of standards.
Key Responsibilities

-Respond to patron issues in a timely manner and provide resolution to issues, while providing superior customer service.
-Promote excellent employee relations through respect, courtesy, tact and friendliness.
-Clean and maintain all assigned areas, public and non-public in an effective, efficient, safe manner.

-Provide the guest with detailed parking fees and clear explanation of valet benefits
-Ensures driveway and entrance are free and clear from congestion for arrivals and departures of vehicles by ensuring all cars are parked in an expedient manner.
-Register guest vehicles in Valet Parking device with accurate information

-All equipment is operated, cleaned and maintained according to Standard Operating Procedure.
-Accurately complete inspection reports on all equipment used.
-WHMIS: must be familiar with and follow all WHMIS standards and accurately complete an annual WHMIS test.
-Responsible Gaming: must be familiar with all Responsible Gaming regulations and able to identify and report "Red Flag Behaviours" and accurately complete an annual Responsible Gaming test.
-Accurately follow an SOP (standard operating procedure) and operation of equipment required for each job assignment and perform other duties as assigned.
-Maintain Fall Arrest/Aerial Lift license and be recertified every three years. (Casino Rama to provide training).
-Able to work outdoors in all types of weather, including extreme heat, extreme cold with exposure to insects.
-Must be prepared to complete work assignments/tasks as scheduled and meet deadlines as required.
-Work in a safe and responsible manner at all times.

-Ability to work with industrial floor cleaning equipment and able to push and lift heavy equipment.

Job Description
What you will be doing:

-To successfully set/tear down banquet rooms for meetings and functions as specified by event contracts, resumes, and supervisors in a congenial, friendly, helpful and timely manner.
-Have complete knowledge of the hotel's events, services and facilities
-Ensure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external customers
-Maintain an orderly working environment, informing your manager of any deficiencies
-To carry out tasks as assigned by your manager or supervisor that pertain to the overall operation of the banquet department at the exact time provided
-To refresh rooms andas assigned by your manager or supervisor
-To complete all miscellaneous duties as directed by your supervisor or manager that pertain to the operation of the department
-To safely transport all equipment and store in the appropriate storage rooms
-Understand and carry out duties according to all banquet event orders and the instructions for each event
-To clean banquet rooms, vacuum, mop and dust as instructed, including mirrors, windows and ledges
-Ensure all waste products are emptied and discarded of in the correct manner
-Ensure fire exits are clean and free of obstructions

About the Role - Valet Attendant
As a Valet Attendant, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the driveway in close collaboration with the door attendant, bell attendant and front desk agent. Position Summary
Based out of the Electrical Division located in Edmonton, Calgary, or Montreal, the Senior Applications Engineer will report to the Estimating Supervisor of the Sales & Estimating department. The Senior Applications Engineer will be responsible for competitive technical proposals and accurate cost estimates of switchgear and electrical buildings. This position also provides functional support to the sales and execution team.
Essential Responsibilities
Reviews customer project documentation including: specification, data sheets and drawings to gain a complete understanding of the project's requirement from a technical and commercial perspective. Develops detailed and comprehensive proposals that accurately depict a proper understanding of the project's requirements while also complying with customer specifications, industry standards, and applicable local codes. Provides suitable comments and or exceptions necessary to convey a clear message to our customers regarding Powell's compliance with the requirements of the project. Creates Basis of Estimate and Basis of Schedule documents to accompany the estimate. Acquires and provides technical leadership to supporting departments such as sales and other stakeholders. Works with various project teams to facilitate the use of estimating tools and processes to produce accurate, reputable proposals. Prepares and presents overviews of proposals to clients and internal stakeholders as required. Reviews product specific cost data and conduct appropriate analysis using statistical tools and performance measurements; works with the production engineering staff; manufacturing engineering, and operations departments in order to institute accurate labor and material forecasting factors into pricing systems. Other duties as required.

Familiarity with Metal Building Systems and Electrical Switchgear is preferred. Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in an Electrical Engineering discipline or a C.E.T. designation from an accredited technical institute, college or University Valid Journeyman Ticket is considered an asset. 3-5 years of experience in an Estimating is considered an asset. Experience with vendors and components for common commercial/industrial power distribution, motor controls, process control, and lighting projects. Previous experience with AutoCAD and advance Excel is preferred.

Temperature controlled working environment. Job requires working in an office setting. Working in front of a computer for the majority of the shift.
