    Position Description: There is a position available for a Youth Care Worker with School District No. 60.     Duties: Participate in student placement, student progress, and school based team meetings. Assists the teacher/counsellor in the development, implementation, and evaluation of individual and group life skills, social skills, self-esteem, and behaviour management programs in school and community settings. Provide crisis intervention and management in both individually and as part of a crisis management team. Facilitate group counselling sessions under the direction of the school counsellor. Monitor students as required. Assist students and families in connecting with and accessing outside agency services.
