As our product offering develops, the technology we manufacture has become more based in complex high-speed digital processing units, power electronics and comprehensive firmware. We are looking to hire a Chief Technical Officer (CTO) who will be responsible for leading Adamson’s electrical engineering and manufacturing strategy in partnership with the CEO. This role oversees the design, innovation, and rollout of new electronics products, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with business objectives. The CTO drives innovation through the related segments of product development - Electronics Engineering, Firmware, Software, Manufacturing - while collaborating closely with Acoustics and Mechanical engineering, as well as Product Management. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic & Technical Leadership Partner closely with the CEO to define and execute Adamson’s electronic product vision and long-term innovation roadmap. Lead the Electronics team, fostering collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence across disciplines. Translate business strategy into actionable engineering objectives and technology initiatives that support company growth. Provide strategic input to the executive team on product positioning, market trends, and emerging technologies. 2. Product Design & Development Oversee the end-to-end electronics product lifecycle - from concept design, engineering validation, and prototyping to production release and post-launch improvement. Collaborate with Product Management to ensure product specifications are sufficient to address stated goals. Ensure DFMEA principles are in place and adhered to throughout the product lifecycle. Guide design processes to ensure products meet Adamson’s high standards of performance, reliability, and quality. Collaborate cross-functionally with Production, Sales and Marketing teams to ensure timely and successful product rollout. Encourage innovation by integrating new materials, processes, and design methodologies into engineering practices. 3. Operational Excellence Direct and optimize engineering workflows, resource planning, and project management to meet business objectives. Manage electronics engineering budgets, capital expenditures, and technology investments. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and manufacturing standards throughout product design and production. Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency across the engineering organization. 4. Other responsibilities assigned from time to time. Qualifications & Experience Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering. 10+ years of progressive electronics engineering leadership experience in a manufacturing environment. Proven record of success in new product development, from concept to market launch. Deep understanding of electronics assembly processes. Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills with the ability to align technical vision to business goals. Passion for innovation, design excellence, and advancing technology-driven products. Nice-to-have Masters of Business Administration. Knowledge of Switched Mode Power Supplies. Knowledge of Class-D Amplification. Knowledge of C++ / Assembly Code. Experience with Electronics Quality Control / Stress Analysis. Understanding of Audio Reproduction Systems. Experience implementing a Manufacturing Execution System.     We are hiring for an experienced Human Resources Manager who will serve as a strategic and operational partner to leadership, responsible for driving all aspects of the HR function. This role will support business growth by strengthening organizational capability, enhancing employee experience, and ensuring compliance with Canadian employment legislation.

    Key Responsibilities
    1. HR Business Partnering & StrategyPartner with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives, workforce planning, and organizational growth. Provide coaching and guidance to managers on performance, employee relations, and team effectiveness. 2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce PlanningLead full-cycle recruitment across technical, manufacturing, and corporate roles. Develop proactive talent pipelines and employer branding strategies to attract top talent. 3. Employee Relations & EngagementManage employee relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes. Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a high-performance and inclusive culture. 4. Performance Management & DevelopmentOversee performance management processes, including goal setting, reviews, and development planning. Support leadership development, succession planning, and capability building across teams. 5. Compensation, Benefits & Payroll SupportAdminister and continuously improve compensation and benefits programs aligned with market competitiveness. Partner with Finance to support payroll processes, audits, and reporting. 6. Compliance & PoliciesEnsure compliance with Ontario employment standards, health & safety regulations, and other applicable legislation. Develop, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook. 7. HR Operations & SystemsManage HRIS and employee data integrity, reporting, and analytics. Streamline HR processes and drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives. 8. Health, Safety & Workplace CulturePartner with operations to support a safe and compliant work environment. Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
    Qualifications & ExperienceMasters of Business Administration in Human Resources is a must.8 to 10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in manufacturing or engineering environments.Strong knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and HR best practices.Experience supporting both strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR operations.
    Skills and CompetenciesStrong business acumen and ability to influence stakeholders.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High level of discretion and professionalism.
