Aecon Energy Solutions is ready to become British Columbia's utility construction provider and we're looking for a Gas Fitter Superintendent to help us get there! Under the direction of the Deployment Manager, the Gas Fitter Superintendent will oversee a team of Field Service Leads responsible for the installation of gas meters. What You'll Do Here: Oversee and guide a team of Field Service Leads (Gas Fitter Supervisors). Monitors the overall progress of the projects and takes corrective action where necessary. Responsible for implementing and monitoring of the company's safety and environment policies and quality control plans. Monitor team performance, providing consistent feedback and coaching. Conduct performance assessments and implement necessary improvement plans. Ensure all installations adhere to relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Investigate and resolve any safety incidents or compliance issues. Address escalated customer concerns and issues promptly. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and problem resolution. Cultivate a customer-centric culture within the team. Review and approve installation documentation and reports submitted by Field Service Leads and Representatives. Maintain accurate records of team activities and performance. Report on team performance and project status to the Deployment Manager. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
    What You Bring to the Team: Prior management and supervisory experience of teams is required. Class B gas fitting license valid in British Columbia is required. Experience in gas fitting is essential. Valid driver's license and clean driving abstract are required. Demonstrated strong leadership and management capabilities. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Strong organizational and time management skills. High technical and mechanical aptitude. Proficient in instruction and inspection tasks. Successful completion of a criminal background check is mandatory. Must be willing to travel as required and provide a clear driver's abstract on an annual basis. The expected pay range for this position is between $85,000 - $120,000.

    Under the supervision of the Proposal Manager, this role is responsible for the coordination of proposal/tender/quote submissions from bid/no bid decisions through contract execution. In this role you will work with multiple teams including Estimators and Operations to ensure that we are submitting high quality responses to our clients. To be chosen for this role you must have prior experience in proposal coordination, and effective verbal and written communication skills.
    What You'll Do Here Act as single point of contact with the client, break out and assign deliverables, develop proposal outline, schedule/facilitate kickoff calls and touchpoints, ensure RFP compliance, facilitate reviews, perform final polish and quality control on all documents, manage the post-bid clarifications, build proposal presentation PowerPoints, and overall coordination of the proposal from the bid/no bid review to the contract execution. Write various proposal sections, as needed, including executive summaries, project descriptions, resumes, standard responses, and support writing/developing new plans with the operations/estimating teams. When required support designing/conceptualizing graphics through PowerPoint - Build-a-Graphic to enhance proposal submissions. Assist in managing, monitoring, and maintaining the proposal content management database, and content libraries through SharePoint and Expedience. Support in keeping accurate records on proposals, results, process lessons learned and debriefs.     What You Bring to The Team A self-motivated team player with 2 to 5 years of proposal experience, preferably within the utilities construction industry. The ability to manage proposals and internal projects in a deadline-orientated environment. Strong English language and writing skills, with a high attention to detail and the ability to proofread and edit content. Strong computer skills and expertise in Microsoft Office (specifically Word and PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint. Ability to perform in a fast-paced/agile environment with competing priorities and capable of critical thinking and problem solving. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment with shared goals. APMP Foundation or Practitioner Certification is considered an asset. Capacité à gérer des propositions et des projets internes dans un environnement où les délais sont respectés. Solides compétences linguistiques et rédactionnelles en anglais, avec un grand souci du détail et la capacité de relire et d'éditer le contenu. Solides compétences informatiques et expertise dans Microsoft Office (en particulier Word et PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat et SharePoint.
