This role has responsibility for underground mine designs, scheduling, reserve estimates, and assistance with the preparation of technical reports for various complex projects globally.  If you have a successful track record and thrive on challenges in a fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you.Key Responsibilities:Provide ongoing technical oversight and engagement in mining studies (Scoping, Pre-feasibility & Feasibility)Conduct mine asset due diligence and evaluationsLead mine design planning, scheduling, and project optimization using Deswik 3D planning and scheduling softwareWriting assistance with, and review of, technical engineering reports (43-101 or equivalent)Support mining engineers on, or lead yourself, projects requiring technical solutions working with our client partnersOversight of technical quality, and delivery of projects including design and review according to client-approved scopes of workBe a champion for practical mining solutions for projects and operations, providing our clients with options for sometimes challenging situationsActively leverage and advocate for industry-leading technology and support implementation engagements (collaboration with our partner groups)Manage contractors and sub-consultants on projects (as required)Skills/Qualifications:8+ years of mining-technical experienceMinimum 5 years of operational mining experience requiredProficiency in Deswik or other underground planning software is required Desire to lead business development activitiesStrong technical skills and experienceExcellent workplace safety practices (advocate for global best practices)Practically minded and a passion for technical excellenceGood communication, interpersonal, and presentation skillsSuperior time management, planning, and ability to interact with clientsA willingness to travel both domestically and internationally, for varying durations and at times to remote locationsFluent and effective spoken and written English. Spanish would be advantageous but not a requirement.Authorization to work lawfully in Canada without sponsorship from AGP is required.Additional Skills Well Considered:·        Experience in ventilation modeling and designs·        Experience in shafts and hoists at design or at sinking stages·        Experience in due diligence activities and auditing·        Experience in open pit mine planning beneficial
