Our Ideal Candidate We are looking for an Intermediate/Senior Project Manager to join our Saskatoon or Regina team. As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to manage small to medium sized multidiscipline industrial projects. These projects support our industrial clients in the following sectors, mining and minerals, energy and renewables, fiber and chemicals. A Day in the Life Manage a variety of industrial projects such as pumps and piping, structural steel and concrete analysis and design, tank and bin design, infrastructure, electrical and instrumentation design, etc. Provide project direction to a team of multidisciplined engineers and designers Support the development and issuance of proposal to clients Build business relationships with current and potential clients Interface directly with clients, team members, contractors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations Ensure completion of work within allotted schedules and budgets to high quality standards Work with team members from various offices to execute projects efficiently Create a work plan that includes a schedule, milestones, control, and risk factors Proactively resolve performance, scope, and schedule issues as they arise Manage projects in alignment with the organization's PMO project management best practices. Utilize the organization's ERP system for resource planning and cost management. What You'll Bring to the Team Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, other disciplines may be considered based upon experience Must be registered (or eligible to register) as a Professional Engineer (P. A Day in the Life This position is responsible for leading the sales development efforts for the Nanaimo & Vancouver teams which include: opportunity/lead generation, client management, proposal preparations, contract negotiations, and client management. Manages all sales-related aspects for existing key clients and develops new opportunities and client relationships with the goal of exceeding quarterly and yearly win targets. What You’ll Bring to the Team Experience in consulting engineering preferred Experience with EPCM, or PM/CM services is strongly preferred 8+ years of sales and marketing experience Resilience and Adaptability: Capable of handling rejection and pivoting when needed. An effective BD lead stays motivated and maintains momentum through setbacks. Strategic Vision: Ability to identify market trends, assess new opportunities, and align them with company goals. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to call, connect, and interact with potential clients and internal stakeholders Results-Driven Mindset: Focused on achieving and surpassing sales targets and business goals with strong analytical skills to measure success and optimize strategies. Energetic outgoing and friendly demeanor Able to professionally and confidently communicate with client and executives Leadership and Mentoring: Able to lead a team, foster growth, and create a collaborative environment where ideas can flourish.
