Our Ideal Candidate
Allnorth is currently seeking an experienced surveyor for local work on a variety of projects throughout Saskatoon. You will work along side our team to conduct a broad range of field surveys including construction layout, topographic, volumetric, and legal. Attention to detail, able to work well with others, communication and organizational skills, willing to work outdoors in all seasons and all weather conditions, time management and a hard work ethic are essential qualifications for this position.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Conducting field surveys including legal, topographic, construction layout and as-builts. Lead a field crew and prepare accurate field notes and sketches Interpret legal and construction plans to execute field work Follow safety protocols and procedures ensuring a safe work environment and promoting a safety culture Communicate with Project Managers, Land Surveyors and clients Willingness to work in either field or office settings and able to complete field reports in a timely and accurate manner.
What You'll Bring to the Team
Minimum 2 years of legal and construction surveying experience 3D scanning experience considered an asset Line locating or GPR experience is an asset Understanding of the Saskatchewan Land Titles system Advanced RPAS license is considered an asset Diploma in Geomatics Engineering or Surveying Technology, or equivalent field training Experience using AutoCAD's Civil 3D is an asset Strong interpersonal and communication skills Technical competence and attention to detail A high level of dependability Physically fit, willing to work in varied conditions in remote areas for extended periods and varied hours A driver's license is required for this position

We are currently seeking Field Materials Technician(s) with a strong background in Concrete, Aggregate and Soil testing to join our Construction Services team for a variety of field projects in North West BC and surrounding areas. As the successful candidate, you will assist the Field Lead to coordinate and conduct laboratory testing in the on site facility and in the field.
A Day in the Life
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assist the Field Lead in conducting field and laboratory testing of aggregate, soils, and concrete. Perform a variety of lab materials testing and field testing Assist with mentoring new and junior employees Assist with maintaining laboratory certifications Communicate test results and provide technical advice, both orally and written, to internal staff and external clients with regards to soils, concrete and aggregate issues Work with cross-discipline teams to ensure projects are completed within allotted schedules, budgets, and to high-quality standards Ensure safety guidelines are adhered to within the lab and in the field Coordinate field equipment and perform and record routine instrument maintenance and calibration of select equipment.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Completion of a Civil Engineering Technology diploma is an asset, but not required 1+ years of progressive experience lab and field materials testing CCIL and/or CSA certification is preferred Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) Proven ability to interact and collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment Technical competence and strong attention to detail Valid Drivers license and clean drivers abstract Willingness to travel to various sites around British Columbia.

We are looking for an Intermediate Structural Engineer with a strong background in construction engineering in the infrastructure sector to join our team, based out of our Kelowna office. As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to plan, coordinate, execute, and manage the design of a variety of structural projects. As the successful candidate, you will work in a team environment preparing structural engineering designs and related documents. You will work on a variety of projects in collaboration with our team of engineers, EITs, designers and project managers.
A Day in the Life
Preliminary to detailed design of industrial structures including concrete foundations, and steel structures. Carry out estimates of project costs, complex analysis and calculations, design review, preparation of reports, proposals, and contract documentation Collaborate with the project team comprised of engineers, designers, project coordinators, and others, to develop drawings and specifications Perform new structural designs, evaluate existing structures, and perform inspections Interface directly with project managers (PMs), team members, contractors, and others to clearly define project requirements and expectations Ensure completion of work within allotted schedules and budgets and with high quality standards Proactively resolve performance, scope, and schedule issues with the PMs as they arise Offer support, mentoring, and guidance to other structural team members

Our Ideal Candidate
We are currently seeking a Senior Process Engineer for our Calgary office. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for conceptual design, front-end and detailed engineering of process plants including the development of PFDs, P&IDs, controls, logic, safety systems, etc. Leading and mentoring junior engineers is also a key responsibility.
A Day in the Life
Using your organizational, communication and people skills, you will work with a team of junior process engineers to ensure projects are completed within allotted schedules and budgets, and to high quality standards.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering 10+ years of relevant experience in an industrial setting specifically Oil & Gas including Oil Sands, Conventional oil and natural gas processing facilities Detailed knowledge of process design, process simulation, equipment sizing and hydraulic analysis Experience in the development of PFDs, PIDs and other process engineering documentation Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Alberta Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a small team of junior engineers HAZOP/Operability studies experience Ability to lead the engineering efforts on small to medium size process projects Ability to manage budget and schedule of small to medium size projects Experience with instrumentation and controls engineering principals Experience with mechanical equipment selection Ability to develop and foster strong relationship with clients to ensure their expectations are understood and delivered upon Experience in developing technical and commercial proposals for new projects Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-discipline environment

Allnorth is currently seeking an experienced surveyor for local work on a variety of projects throughout Saskatoon. You will work along side our team to conduct a broad range of field surveys including construction layout, topographic, volumetric, and legal. Attention to detail, able to work well with others, communication and organizational skills, willing to work outdoors in all seasons and all weather conditions, time management and a hard work ethic are essential qualifications for this position.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Conducting field surveys including legal, topographic, construction layout and as-builts. Lead a field crew and prepare accurate field notes and sketches Interpret legal and construction plans to execute field work Follow safety protocols and procedures ensuring a safe work environment and promoting a safety culture Communicate with Project Managers, Land Surveyors and clients Willingness to work in either field or office settings and able to complete field reports in a timely and accurate manner.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
Minimum 2 years of legal and construction surveying experience 3D scanning experience considered an asset Line locating or GPR experience is an asset Understanding of the Saskatchewan Land Titles system Advanced RPAS license is considered an asset Diploma in Geomatics Engineering or Surveying Technology, or equivalent field training Experience using AutoCAD's Civil 3D is an asset Strong interpersonal and communication skills Technical competence and attention to detail A high level of dependability Physically fit, willing to work in varied conditions in remote areas for extended periods and varied hours A driver’s license is required for this position

Our Ideal Candidate
As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for Electrical and Automation Engineering activities within the Calgary Team. Extensive knowledge of electrical, instrumentation and controls for industrial applications is required. As a key Saskatchewan team member, you will be independent yet have the vast support group of other Allnorth engineers and designers to support you and allow you to tackle exciting projects at various levels such as feasibility, FEED, Detailed Engineering, and Construction and Commissioning. Projects range in size and complexity but typically will be in the small to medium range.
What You'll Bring to the Team
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) in Canada Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial design, plant and/or construction environment Proficient in engineering software applications such as database tools, AutoCAD, ETAP Thorough understanding of codes, governing regulations and industry practices Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) Proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment Technical competence and strong attention to detail Lead client interactions and review meeting as wells as communicate with vendors and subconsultants Provide guidance to junior engineers as required Willingness to travel including occasional remote stie work
