Looking for a role where you can take real ownership of quality in a manufacturing environment? This is a hands-on opportunity for a Quality Engineer to lead laboratory operations, drive compliance, and influence product quality from raw materials through to finished goods.
You’ll play a critical role in ensuring products meet strict regulatory and quality standards, while building and maintaining robust quality systems across both factory and warehouse operations.
About the Role
This is a broad and autonomous role where you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of laboratory operations and overall quality assurance across the site.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing supplier quality, including audits, performance monitoring, and issue resolution
Delivering quality training and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
About You
You’re a proactive and detail-oriented quality professional who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively. You bring a strong sense of ownership and are confident making decisions that protect product integrity.
You will ideally have:
A tertiary qualification in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biology or a related field
Experience working in a QA/QC laboratory environment under GMP or similar regulatory frameworks
Strong knowledge of quality systems (ISO, GMP) and audit processes
Experience with laboratory instrumentation (e.g. HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, titration methods)
Proven ability to lead investigations and implement corrective/preventative actions
Supplier quality or supply chain experience (highly regarded)
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across teams
Experience in dairy, animal health, or regulated manufacturing environments will be an advantage.
