    About The Role

    As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Alvéole, you'll play a crucial role in driving our growth by engaging with potential clients through outbound outreach. Your mission will be to create new business opportunities by sparking interest in Alvéole's products and services, qualifying leads, and handing off promising prospects to our Account Executive team for further engagement. Your efforts will contribute directly to helping our clients engage with their tenants and achieve their ESG goals, positioning Alvéole as a leader in sustainable solutions.

    This position lays the foundation for a successful sales career. There is a path for career growth within Alvéole for the right candidate that is willing to learn and work towards that goal. We have seen many Business Development Representatives grow into different roles within Alvéole. This is an inside sales role with an opportunity to make a large impact on the company. This is a full-time position with a start date as soon as you are ready

    Responsibilities

    Conduct outbound cold calls and email outreach to qualify potential clients and create new business opportunities.
    Generate interest in Alvéole's products/services and schedule meetings for the sales team.
    Effectively hand off hot leads to the Account Executive team for demos
    Research and identify prospects, maintaining accurate information in our CRM system.
    Maintain a high level of daily activities to meet and exceed monthly lead generation goals.
    Collaborate with the sales team to refine outreach strategies and improve prospecting techniques.
    Continuously learn and adapt to new sales methods and market insights.
    Track all communications and interactions with prospects in our CRM.

    Brand stewardship: ability to represent the Alvéole brand, its service offering, its messages, and its desire to help customers create maximum impact, reach their ESG goals, and obtain the desired green certifications.
    Cold calling: confident and resilient when making outbound cold calls and engaging with clients.
    Prospecting: ability to understand our ICP, find them (net new and CRM leads) and use proper messaging.
    Eagerness and curiosity: proactive about learning new skills, sales strategies and product knowledge, with a keen interest in market trends and industry developments.
    Effective communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information effectively.
    Team collaboration: Works in partnership with teammates and the Sales Manager to strategize and drive team success.
    Goal-oriented: Motivated by targets and eager to surpass goals and objectives.
    Tech-savvy: Comfortable using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales enablement software (Sales Navigator, Zoom Info, Apollo, , Google Suite, Slack, ChatGPT)
    Get-it-done attitude: where there is a will, there is a way and we like to work with people that make things happen
    Grit and resilience: there is a lot of rejection in sales and it's important to have the right mindset to be able to consistently persevere.

    Experience And Skills Required

    At least 6 months of experience in outbound sales, business development in a B2B sales role
    Experience with sales tools and processes (Hubspot) an asset. Additional tools include ZoomInfo, Apollo, , Sales Navigator
    Excellent written and spoken English. French is a strong asset.

    Responsabilités

    Effectuer des appels à froid et des envois d'e-mails pour qualifier les clients potentiels et créer de nouvelles opportunités commerciales.
    Générer de l'intérêt pour les produits/services d'Alvéole et planifier des réunions pour l'équipe commerciale.
    Transférer efficacement les prospects chauds à l'équipe des Account Executives pour les démonstrations.
    Rechercher et identifier des prospects, en maintenant des informations précises dans notre système CRM.
    Maintenir un niveau élevé d'activités quotidiennes pour atteindre et dépasser les objectifs mensuels de génération de leads.
    Collaborer avec l'équipe commerciale pour affiner les stratégies de prospection et améliorer les techniques de recherche de prospects.
    Apprendre en continu et s'adapter aux nouvelles méthodes de vente et aux tendances du marché.

    Maintain honey beehives at client sites s on a minimum three week "cycle" basis, carrying out a variety of tasks to support bee health throughout the beekeeping season. Tasks include:
    Installation,
    Routine maintenance,
    Data collection,
    Record-keeping,
    Pest / parasite control,
    Facilitating educational workshops.
    Drive regularly in your city including to client sites, yards, equipment and bee suppliers.
    Engage with clients and tenants about the services Alvéole offers (currently including beehives, beehomes, data collected through samples

    About The Role

    As a Customer Support Representative, you'll be the friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient first point of contact for Alvéole's clients. You'll support clients across North America and Europe, respond to phone, email and emergency inquiries, and help troubleshoot customer issues You'll also work cross-functionally with our service delivery, customer success, product and sales teams to deliver a thoughtful, timely, and efficient support experience.

    What You'll Do

    Main responsibilities:

    Provide fast, friendly, and reliable support via zendesk (email, phone, and emergencies)
    Troubleshoot common questions or issues related to hive installations, scheduling, workshops, and our customer platform
    Maintain accurate records in our support tools (like Zendesk, Zuper and HubSpot)
    Use Zendesk macros, side conversations and tagging to manage your queue, assign tasks, and escalate as needed
    Collaborate with other departments (sales, operations, beekeeping) to ensure smooth handoffs and quick resolutions
    Ensure customers can reach us reliably during scheduled support hours, and follow internal scheduling protocols to provide consistent coverage from Noon-8pm EDT
    Escalate complex or urgent issues to senior team members or relevant departments

    Other Responsibilities

    Contribute to internal knowledge base articles and provide insight into how to optimize customer support processes
    Identify trends in customer feedback and suggest improvements to our services or support process
