    Role and Responsibilities As Head of Business Development, you’ll be responsible for driving growth by connecting AOT’s offerings to industry-specific needs. You’ll leverage your extensive professional network and deep domain knowledge to identify opportunities, build strategic relationships, and position AOT as a trusted digital transformation partner.

    Key responsibilities include:

    Identifying, initiating, and developing new business opportunities.

    Leading consultative conversations that align client challenges with AOT’s services.

    Attending and speaking at events, conferences, and networking sessions across the GTA.

    Collaborating with the marketing team to host thought leadership sessions and client events.

    Maintaining accurate, timely records of outreach, touchpoints, and pipeline in our CRM.

    This role is remote, though the successful candidate will be located in the greater Toronto/Hamilton area. Please note that the role will require frequent travel within the greater Toronto area, with occasional travel across the East Coast of Canada and the U.S. and Atlantic Canada.

    Who You Are You’re a seasoned business development leader with a reputation for insight, integrity, and results. You understand the pressures your clients face, from regulation to innovation, and you know how to offer real value, not just another pitch.

    You bring:

    15+ years of experience in IT/software services, with a strong track record in sales, BD, and/or strategic account growth

    Deep industry experience in financial services or healthcare within the GTA and a firm understanding of sector-specific use cases, regulatory context, operational challenges, and business drivers across public and private sectors

    Strong capability to articulate the company’s product and service offerings (especially their unique differentiators) within the context of the chosen industry vertical

    Role and Responsibilities As a User Experience Designer or Senior User Experience Designer, you will shape digital services for enterprise and public sector clients, translating user needs and business requirements into intuitive, accessible experiences.

    Role and Responsibilities As a senior Solution Architect within the Financial Services vertical, you are the technical leader behind complex digital transformation initiatives. Partnering closely with the Client Engagement Partner – Financial Services, you shape solution strategy, define architecture standards, and ensure delivery teams build secure, resilient, and compliant systems.

    You engage directly with CIOs, CTOs, risk officers, and business leaders to assess legacy environments and design modern architectures that support regulatory requirements, operational efficiency, and superior customer experiences.

    Who You Are You are a pragmatic architect who understands that financial services demand both innovation and disciplined risk management. You’ve recently delivered solutions in regulated financial environments and can confidently navigate conversations around compliance, scalability, and resilience.

    You bring:

    10+ years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture, with significant recent experience delivering solutions within financial services (banking, insurance, fintech, or capital markets).

    Strong understanding of Canadian regulatory and risk frameworks (OSFI, PIPEDA, FINTRAC, PCI‑DSS) and familiarity with U.S. regulatory environments (SOX, GLBA, FFIEC) as an asset.

    Experience architecting cloud‑based and hybrid solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP, including microservices, APIs, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.

    Proven expertise in secure architecture patterns, identity and access management, encryption strategies, and data governance in regulated environments.

    Strong facilitation and communication skills, with experience leading architecture workshops and engaging executive stakeholders.

    Experience with core banking platforms, insurance policy systems, payments infrastructure, workflow automation, or AI‑driven risk and analytics solutions is highly valued.
