We are looking for a detail-oriented Revit Drafter to support our design and project management teams by producing accurate, coordinated electrical drawings and models.
    Position Overview
    The Revit Drafter will collaborate with project managers, project engineer and field teams to support electrical design, coordination, and project execution. Reporting to the Project Engineer, this role involves producing and modifying Revit models, reviewing drawings, supporting material procurement, and assisting with project documentation and technical problem-solving.
    Key Responsibilities
    Develop, modify, and maintain Revit electrical models for construction projects.Produce detailed electrical drawings, including lighting, power, distribution, fire alarm, and systems layouts.Prepare full-detail Revit drawing sets for each work package under field engineer guidance, format sheets for direct use by subcontractors.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure design intent and constructability.Review design markups, flag routing or constructability conflicts early, and incorporate revisions promptly.Assist with clash detection and coordination with other trade models (mechanical, structural, architectural).Maintain drawing standards, templates, sheet organization, views, and schedules within Revit.Update models and sheets consistent with redline workflows.Maintain awareness of owner-supplied equipment footprint, access requirements, and project-specific constraints.Prepare as-built models and drawings at project completion.Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
    Qualifications
    Diploma or certification in Drafting, BIM Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Electrical focus).Knowledge of AutoCAD or Navisworks is an asset.Understanding of electrical systems, symbols, and industry standards.Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings.Excellent communication and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
