The DevOps Service Platform (DSP) team, spread across Paris, Bangalore, and Montreal, provides developers with tools and platforms that enhance agility, reliability, and operational excellence. The SRE squad ensures best practices in reliability, resilience, and infrastructure performance. This includes automating cloud infrastructure provisioning, monitoring the platform, migrating legacy systems, and enhancing service performance while reducing incidents. Key Responsibilities • Ensure stability and availability of software factory tools and services, meeting SLA standards under a Follow-The-Sun model. • Operate all services in compliance with internal security and risk regulations. • Support developers in adopting CI/CD best practices and using tools such as Jenkins, Git, Jira, Nexus, Sonar, and XLDeploy. • Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs), install and maintain DevOps tools, and automate repetitive tasks using scripts or chatbots. • Implement monitoring KPIs and define SLOs/SLAs to track application performance and improve service reliability. • Contribute to documentation, write internal procedures, and promote best practices across teams. • Act as regional CI/CD expert for the Americas, offering technical support and guidance to internal teams. Required Qualifications • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development or administration of DevOps tools. • Strong expertise in Linux, Bash, Python, Jenkins, Git, and monitoring tools. • Demonstrated autonomy, ability to lead meetings, manage incidents, and communicate effectively across global teams. • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability to resolve complex technical challenges. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.     Job DescriptionSociete Generale Canada is seeking a Senior DevOps SRE Specialist to join the Digital and Data Service department, which supports IT development across the organization by leveraging DevOps practices. The DevOps Service Platform (DSP) team, spread across Paris, Bangalore, and Montreal, provides developers with tools and platforms that enhance agility, reliability, and operational excellence.The SRE squad ensures best practices in reliability, resilience, and infrastructure performance. This includes automating cloud infrastructure provisioning, monitoring the platform, migrating legacy systems, and enhancing service performance while reducing incidents.Key Responsibilities• Ensure stability and availability of software factory tools and services, meeting SLA standards under a Follow-The-Sun model.• Operate all services in compliance with internal security and risk regulations.• Support developers in adopting CI/CD best practices and using tools such as Jenkins, Git, Jira, Nexus, Sonar, and XLDeploy.• Develop Proof of Concepts (POCs), install and maintain DevOps tools, and automate repetitive tasks using scripts or chatbots.• Implement monitoring KPIs and define SLOs/SLAs to track application performance and improve service reliability.• Contribute to documentation, write internal procedures, and promote best practices across teams.• Act as regional CI/CD expert for the Americas, offering technical support and guidance to internal teams.
    Required Qualifications• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development or administration of DevOps tools.• Strong expertise in Linux, Bash, Python, Jenkins, Git, and monitoring tools.• Demonstrated autonomy, ability to lead meetings, manage incidents, and communicate effectively across global teams.• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability to resolve complex technical challenges.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
    Nice-to-Have Skills• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, ArgoCD, Maven, MSBuild, npm, Jira, and GitHub Actions.• Experience with CI/CD ecosystem tools such as TeamCity, XLDeploy, Nexus, Artifactory, Sonar, and PowerShell scripting.
