    Job Description
    The Food and Beverage Operation Manager will oversee all aspects and execution of the food and beverage set up and service of events in a renowned convention centre in Ottawa to ensure exceptional guest experiences. This role involves managing staff, maintaining quality standards, controlling costs, demonstrating excellent customer service and ensuring compliance with all policies and/or regulations.  The Food and Beverage Manager will receive guidance from the Director of Operations and/or Senior Operations Manager.   COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position is $60,471 to $76,385. Job Responsibilities Operational Management 
    ?    Oversee daily operations of the set up and service of all food and beverage events, meetings, conferences, conventions and trade/consumer shows 
    ?    Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality food, beverage and service standards 
    ?    Develop and implement service protocols and operational policies 
    ?    Coordinate with the culinary team and other departments to maintain a smooth workflow  Leadership and Training 
    ?    Recruit, train, and mentor staff, including supervisors, servers, bartenders, cashiers and housemen 
    ?    Assign tasks and manage performance

    $60,000 - $65,000 Job Responsibilities ?    Coordinate and perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance for the building, grounds, and equipment

Responsabilités liées au poste Planification et coordination des événements : Le chef de service traiteur sera responsable de la planification, de la coordination et de la gestion des différents événements traiteurs. Il ou elle devra s'assurer que tous les éléments nécessaires pour les événements, tels que la nourriture, les boissons, les équipements et le personnel, sont disponibles et prêts à temps. Gestion du personnel   : Le chef de service traiteur aura la charge du recrutement, de la formation et de la supervision de son équipe. Il ou elle devra s'assurer que les membres du personnel sont bien informés des détails de l'événement, qu'ils se conforment aux normes de notre entreprise, d?hygiène et salubrité et qu'ils offrent un service impeccable aux clients. Suivi des budgets et de la rentabilité   : Le chef de service traiteur devra travailler en collaboration avec la directrice générale des opérations pour établir et respecter les budgets alloués aux événements traiteurs.  Contrôle de la qualité : Le chef de service traiteur veillera à ce que les normes de qualité élevées de l'entreprise soient respectées lors de chaque événement.
