Your Role Within The Team
Reporting to the Director of Operations of the Engineering Management practice, the Senior Infrastructure Engineer lead the design, development, and oversight of critical infrastructure systems supporting Canada's defence operations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the resilience, security, and performance of infrastructure supporting military and defence technologies. Lead the development of infrastructure strategies aligned with defence objectives, including facilities, networks, and operational support systems. Provide expert guidance on engineering standards, risk assessments, and lifecycle management of infrastructure assets. Manage large-scale infrastructure projects, including design, procurement, implementation, and commissioning. Ensure all infrastructure complies with Canadian defence regulations, cybersecurity standards, and environmental policies. Liaise with the Department of National Defence (DND), Canadian Armed Forces (CAF), contractors, and other government agencies. Drive modernization initiatives, including smart infrastructure, digital twins, and sustainable engineering practices.

The Ideal Candidate
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering. 15 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with at least 10 years in a defence or government context. The Shoreline Power Group is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon, and Atkins-Realis located in Kincardine, Ontario. Shoreline Power Group is the centerpiece of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program which replaces the main components of 6 reactors at the Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station. The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of calandria tubes, pressure tubes, and feeders as well as construction management and trade labor. This project is part of Bruce Power’s Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power’s CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064.
Reporting to the Project Director, the Senior Project Control Manager will be responsible in providing project control support to ongoing projects and supporting the company’s estimating and construction teams to ensure that the company’s project control system is properly implemented and utilized.
Your Role Within The Team
Overall responsibility for compliance of assigned projects with project controls standards - both from applicable contract documents and from Shoreline project controls policies/guidelines. Manage developing, establishing, and maintaining the company’s project cost /control systems. Manage efforts to ensure continuity between project estimates and project baseline. Oversee production of a detailed, resource-loaded schedule in P6. Oversee the project team in converting project bids to setting up the complete, accurate project baseline (budget, schedule), in the company’s Project Controls (PRISM) system. Assist in set up project accounting systems (cost codes, job cost processing procedures, project rules of credit). Review the project contract and ensure that all the contract conditions (invoicing, reporting, change management, etc.) are applied and fulfilled for project set-up, project tracking and reporting, and project closeout. Monitor the project performance and ensure that all the project control system is properly implemented. Generate all required project status reports for internal management and for the customer, including the overall project Dashboard, project performance report (Earned Value, SPI, CPI, etc). Train the project team on how to implement the change management procedures. Responsible to establish a change management system in compliance with contract conditions and Shoreline’s procedures; monitor and enforce the change management system for assigned projects. Responsible to communicate, train and generally ensure full understanding by project staff of project controls processes and their applicable responsibilities. Oversee the review and analyze the project control reports (i.e., progress and productivity) with the project control leads and project team and suggest corrective actions to maintain reasonable (around 1-PF) performance/productivity. Oversee the review and analyze the project scheduling and cost reports and suggest corrective actions to maintain the project within anticipated cost and schedule. Prepare and update project cash flows. Supervise and mentor project control staff. Participate in customer and internal management project status reporting meetings. AS required, produce custom reports per request of customer or internal management. Provide input on an ongoing basis for improvements/modifications to Shoreline’s project controls policy & guidelines. Other duties as assigned.

AtkinsRéalis / Candu Energy Inc. , is looking for a Senior Radiation Physicist to be a part of our team in the Fuel and Physics department supporting the design of new nuclear power plants and the operation, refurbishment, or waste management and decommissioning of existing CANDU nuclear power plants.
Your Role Within The Team
Lead, plan, perform, document, review, and/or verify technical analyses that includes the use of radiation transport codes, performing dose calculations, and/or application / development of activity transport models. Produce high quality reports effectively summarizing technical information and present results to internal and/or external stakeholders. Attend and participate in meetings as needed. Collate, assimilate, and summarize results from existing analyses. Follow the relevant procedures, guidelines and standards governing the work being performed, and continually improve skills through instructor-led courses and/or on-the-job training. Develop, adapt, or modify computer codes for specific applications and to solve new problems.

The Ideal Candidate
Master’s degree or equivalent in Nuclear Engineering or Physics with 10-15 years of relevant experience. 8+ years of experience with radiation transport, performing dose calculations, activity transport, shielding applications, waste management, radioactivity dispersion. Experience with the computer codes MCNP, SCALE/ORIGEN, or ADDAM (equivalent codes acceptable, ability to program especially in python, PERL, MATLAB, C++, or Fortran and proficient in Microsoft Office. Familiarity with the Linux operating system. Ability to present technical material as well as develop and deliver training effectively. Working knowledge of work processes, and associated technologies. Eligible to obtain license for nuclear software that falls under the US Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810 radiation physics codes, such as MCNP and SCALE. Experience with rehabilitation and decommissioning activities and supporting station operations. Experience working at a nuclear facility, performing radiation transport and shielding calculations, and code development including source control and testing. Knowledge of the nuclear regulatory framework, along with codes and standards applicable for nuclear work in Canada.

The Senior Project Manager - Highways will provide senior level technical direction, mentor and support junior to intermediate staff, contribute to management initiatives, and serve as a key contact with clients. Your role within the team
Manage Highway Design projects in Ontario, leading a team of engineers, designers, other disciplines & consultants to meet MTO requirements. Maintain project budgets, schedules, risk registers. Communications with project team, client staff and project stakeholders. Lead technical proposals for highway design pursuits and similar transportation engineering work. Ensure all deliverables meet client requirements and all applicable standards, codes and regulations. Maintain required quality system standards and procedures. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering. Registered as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng) in Ontario. Highway engineering knowledge and skills recognized by the Ministry of Transportation Ontario, sufficient for approval in MTO RAQS.
