As a Customer Experience Associate - Retail Concierge, your role is pivotal in creating a welcoming and seamless shopping experience for our customers. Reporting to the Customer Experience Team Lead (CXTL), you will assist customers, handle transactions efficiently while providing knowledgeable recommendations and addressing inquiries. Your aim is to enhance each customer’s visit through exceptional service, fostering loyalty and ensuring a positive perception of our brand. Base pay range: CA$19.00/hr - CA$21.00/hr Job details Position: CXA Retail Concierge / Cashier (Full-Time) Location: Islington Job Responsibilities Greet customers and establish a positive rapport. Complete all financial transactions with customers, ensuring items are correctly scanned. Maintain cash drawer balance; open/close cash and balance receipts at the end of the day. Achieve cashier metrics daily. Stay informed of in-store promotions and monthly flyers. Use phone and iPad portals to check inventory, look up orders, and inform customers when orders are ready for pickup. Collaborate with the sales team to meet sales goals. Contribute to a friendly, professional, and service-oriented store environment. Stock shelves and price products correctly. Assist in returns; stay educated on product returns and warranty plans. Listen actively and offer customers the right help. Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with procedures and regulations. Follow loss prevention and health & safety policies. Continuously expand product knowledge and stay informed about industry trends. Memorize product locations and assist customers in finding items. Train and supervise new cashiers and retail staff as needed. Perform various duties throughout the store as required. Qualifications and Skills Dynamic with excellent customer service skills. High school diploma with previous cashier experience is an asset. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Detail-oriented, highly observant, and accurate. Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Google applications, and basic mathematical aptitude. Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently. Multi-tasker in a fast-paced environment. Adaptable and flexible. Strong organizational and time management skills.
