  • Position Overview Autodesk is leading the transformation of the AEC industry, integrating AI technology into our products. We're enhancing our applications with cloud-native capabilities, including data at scale, edge computing, AI-based solutions, and advanced 3D modeling and graphics. This innovation is happening across our flagship products—AutoCAD, Revit, and Construction Cloud—and Forma, our new Industry Cloud. As a Software Developer on the AEC Solutions team, you will join a team of technologists to build data pipelines to power our work in artificial intelligence, deep learning, generative AI, machine learning, reinforcement learning, information retrieval, and natural language processing. You will collaborate across organizations with a versatile group of AI Researchers, ML Engineers, Software Architects, and Experience Designers that are building cutting-edge foundation models and generative AI tools for the AEC industry. Sous la responsabilité du directeur Insights and Analytics, le responsable de l'ingénierie des données constituera et dirigera une équipe chargée de mettre en place des pipelines et des processus de données évolutifs, fiables et de haute qualité qui alimenteront les activités d'analyse stratégique, de science des données et d'optimisation des coûts dans le cadre des initiatives de la plateforme Autodesk.
    Au sein de l'équipe Analytics & Insights (A&I), vous jouerez un rôle essentiel dans la prise de décisions basées sur les données en créant et en maintenant des pipelines de données fiables, des modèles de données organisés et des ensembles de données prêts à être analysés. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec des analystes, des scientifiques des données, des ingénieurs Finops et des équipes produit afin de créer des solutions qui prennent en charge le reporting, l'expérimentation et l'analyse avancée à grande échelle.

Responsibilities Lead our research practice in delivering strategic insights that directly influence innovation priorities and long-term product roadmaps Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing research team, including recruiting top talent and providing career guidance and performance management Develop and execute research strategies that anticipate technology trends and their impact on customer needs, business objectives, and competitive positioning Manage resource allocation and project prioritization to ensure research efforts align with business strategy and deliver maximum impact Drive research excellence by setting methodology standards and implementing project governance to ensure consistent quality and delivery Lead research initiatives across our broad platform portfolio, navigating the complexities of both consumer-facing and developer-focused products Develop deep expertise in API ecosystems, understanding developer needs, integration challenges, and platform adoption patterns Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies (AI/ML, platform ecosystems, APIs) and translate technological possibilities into research opportunities Oversee the development and delivery of research reports and presentations, ensuring team outputs communicate complex findings in clear, actionable formats for stakeholders Build strong stakeholder relationships and champion research that explores the intersection of AI, APIs, and consumer experiences Minimum Qualifications 8+ years of research experience with 4+ years in research management or leadership roles Advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science (with HCI focus), Statistics/Data Science, Anthropology, Cognitive Science or related field Strong understanding of building trustworthy, adaptive AI experiences grounded in human insight and data fluency Proven track record of leading research that drives product strategy and business outcomes Strong technical fluency with APIs, developer ecosystems, and emerging AI technologies Experience conducting research across both consumer and B2B/developer audiences Demonstrated ability to optimize team operations and establish effective prioritization frameworks Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to influence senior leadership Preferred Qualifications Experience in platform companies or technology organizations with diverse product portfolios Background in AI/ML research applications or human-AI interaction studies Track record of anticipating technology trends and translating them into actionable business insights Experience with developer research methodologies and API usability studies Knowledge of research operations, tooling, and process optimization History of building and scaling high-performing research teams Learn More About Autodesk Welcome to Autodesk!
