With an estimated daily volume of 1,000+ vehicles, the earning potential averages $30+ per hour, with opportunities to earn more based on efficiency and performance.Important Details About the Role:This is an independent contractor position, not an employee role.You are responsible for your own tools, equipment, and any associated expenses required to complete your work.As an independent contractor, you manage your own schedule and workload to meet the operational needs of Bird.ResponsibilitiesFleet Transportation: Utilize your vehicle(s) or fleet to collect, deploy, relocate, and retrieve e-scooters and e-bikes across Edmonton daily.Task-Based Operations (Choose your model):Retrieve & Charge (Highest Margin): Collect vehicles, charge them at your own secured facility, and deploy them the next morning.Retrieve & Drop-off: Collect vehicles and transport them to the local Bird warehouse for charging.Operational Management: Manage the end-to-end operation of your assigned portfolio, ensuring vehicles are available in high-demand areas.Maintenance & Quality: Perform light field checks to ensure vehicles are safe and environmentally friendly.Field Execution: Problem-solve in real-time to overcome obstacles, prioritize tasks, and navigate local geography efficiently.Must HavesVehicle Access (Required): Must own or have consistent access to at least one large vehicle (van/truck) suitable for transporting multiple scooters/bikes.
