    Job Summary Lead position for location approximately $15M or less in revenue. Direct all sales and operations activities for a branch location. Responsible for the execution of sales strategy. Develop customer relationships and ensure satisfaction through operational excellence. Responsible for talent acquisition and development and retention of associates and adherence to company policies and procedures. This position requires operation of a company vehicle or a personal vehicle and such operation is done consistently more than 20% of the average work week. If selected for this position, the company will run a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) report. A requirement of this position is an acceptable MVR report.

    Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities

    Ensures efficient operations through adherence to policies and procedures and process excellence. Maintains compliance with applicable government regulations.

    Safeguards company assets and associates.

    Ensures appropriate staffing levels to meet service, financial, and operational support demands. Effectively utilizes training programs to develop sales and operations expertise.

    Initiates and builds customer relationships with existing and new customers.

    Acts as liaison to functional leadership to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution.

    Monitors local market trends. Develops and executes strategies to grow local market share and aggressively pursues business opportunities.

    Works closely with vendors to maximize sales and increase profitability.

    Accountable for profit and loss and inventory/accounts receivable for assigned location. Achieves earnings before interest and tax (EBIT), return on investment capital (ROIC), and return on sales (ROS) goals.

    Nature and Scope

    Solutions require analysis and investigation.

    Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.

    Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.

    Work Environment

    Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

    Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

    Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

    Education and Experience

    Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

    Job Summary Responsible for directing all warehouse operations consistent with all Company warehousing distribution practices, procedures and objectives. This involves directing the safe, accurate and efficient receiving, storage, and shipment of materials in a manner that meets customer service objectives

    Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

    Works alongside, and supervises a team of warehouse employees and delivery drivers, including hiring, delegation, training, performance evaluation, career development planning, disciplinary actions, and termination.

    Ensures that all customers (internal and external) are serviced in an efficient and courteous manner.

    Meets customer delivery service goals and delivery schedules by dispatching in-house trucks and/or utilizing third party providers as required. Communicates all delays or variances in inbound/outbound freight to the appropriate parties.

    Develops and manages preventative maintenance programs for warehouse equipment such as vehicles, forklift trucks, etc. Ensures employees have proper certification and training on equipment including, but not limited to forklifts, pallet jacks, Interstar color machine, and shrink wrap machine.

    Maintains strict control over inventory levels in order to meet internal and external demand of product. Coordinates annual physical inventory activities.

    Ensures compliance with all applicable company policies, procedures and guidelines. Develops and/or enforces corporate policies regarding security and safety in order to maintain a safe working environment.

    Manages the reception, handling, distribution, and storage of all freight, product, and supplies that come in and out of the warehouse.

    Identifies, investigates and addresses, all inventory records discrepancies. Maintains appropriate and complete documentation regarding regulated products and/or hazardous materials.

    Work Environment

    Typically located in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.

    Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes. Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting.

    No travel required.
