We are looking for a Salesforce Functional Analyst with proven experience in leading small to medium-sized teams. This hybrid role combines hands-on functional analysis — gathering requirements, designing solutions, and managing configurations — with leadership responsibilities to guide and mentor a team of Salesforce professionals. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and administrators to ensure our Salesforce solutions align with business objectives while maintaining best practices and platform scalability. You'll Have The Opportunity To Functional Analysis Gather, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders. Translate business needs into clear functional specifications, process flows, and user stories. Analyze current Salesforce environment, identify gaps, and propose solutions aligned with platform capabilities. Work with technical teams to design scalable, maintainable, and user-friendly solutions. Configure Salesforce declarative features (objects, fields, workflows, flows, validation rules, page layouts, etc.). Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and lead the defect resolution process. Team Leadership Lead and coordinate the work of a team of Salesforce functional analysts and/or admins. Assign tasks, review deliverables, and ensure timelines and quality standards are met. Provide mentoring, training, and guidance to team members. Act as the point of escalation for complex functional issues. Collaborate with project managers to align resources with priorities. Stakeholder Management Act as the primary functional point of contact for Salesforce projects. Facilitate workshops, sprint reviews, and requirement-gathering sessions. Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences. YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES: 5+ years’ experience as a Salesforce Functional Analyst, Consultant, or Business Analyst. At least 1–2 years in a team lead, coordinator, or mentoring role. Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or other major Salesforce products. Experience creating detailed process documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methods. Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills. Salesforce Administrator and/or Business Analyst Certification. Experience with integration projects and external systems. Exposure to Salesforce Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or CPQ. Bilingual (English/French) if working in a bilingual environment. Soft Skills Ability to balance hands-on tasks with leadership responsibilities. Proactive problem-solving and critical thinking. Define, review and monitor product and material classifications provided by our business partner Determine BRP classification of finished goods, part & accessories, components and raw material Participate in the documentation process to answer requests from customs authorities such as CF28, CF29 from CBP, but also from CBSA, SAT, and worldwide Support directives and initiatives from strategy classification to ensure BRP complies with ADD/CVD, based on classification, origin and open cases Prepare technical documentation of Tariff Classification to support BRP analysis, considering alternative end use, functionalities and technical features Influence and support regional classification compliance strategies Support multiple compliance factors such as origin and marking determination, applicable rules of origin for free trade benefits, management of surtaxes, exclusions, classification updates, etc.
YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:
Bachelor’s degree in business, international commerce or any other related field High level of understanding/expertise of customs environment, distribution and manufacturing. 3 - 5-years of specific experience, in customs brokerage with classification expertise Strong technical skills in the field of Canadian Customs Compliance as well as US Customs Compliance, especially in HS Classification, Mexico expertise is an asset Current Canadian CCS (Certified Customs Specialist) designation is an asset Engineering knowledge or understanding is an asset, specially in the automotive and other vehicle industry Very good understanding of trade compliance terminology Self motivated and high level of autonomy Capacity to manage stress, high volume requests, and walk the extra mile to get the work done High level of computer skills; including extract of data between various software packages.
