(Full time)As a Team Leader, your main responsibilities are to:Greet internal and external customers in a pleasant manner and provide prompt customer service.Ensure all submissions are received and prioritized according to hold times and turn-around times.Ensure proper procedures are followed for legal samples.Coordinate the receipt, inspection and handling of hazardous samples.Notify QA and appropriate lab areas of the arrival of their samples and inter lab transfers.Coordinate removal of samples and returned containers with Archiving.Ensure daily schedules for receiving, cleaning, and training are followed. Unpack samples and organize them on the inspection tables according to Chain of Custody. Make sure jobs are inspected in priority order and accurately bar-coded. Promptly store samples in their designated locations to maintain sample integrity.Ensure timely scanning of samples into the fridge, and delivery of microbiology samples to the micro lab. Ensure daily random QC checks of jobs are carried out.
