Reporting to the Senior Superintendent, the Site Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative needs of the project. The appropriate candidate should have 2 years administrative experience in a construction environment.
Coordinate deliveries of materials to site in an organized manner
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, resource room schedules, various spreadsheets and training materials
Support site team in all administrative functions
Update production schedule bi-weekly for Superintendent(s)
2 years of administrative experience in a fast paced, high volume, construction environment.
~ Skills in building relationships with a broad network of contacts, including trade partners and suppliers
~ Proficient with MS Office software; experience with NEWSTAR an asset

The successful candidate will also work closely with our third-party IT vendor, Jolera, to ensure smooth operations and quick resolutions for more complex issues.
IT Support
Serve as the primary contact for internal IT support, handling software, hardware and peripheral issues for all team members (both on-site, remote, and office).
Assist with onboarding new team members in collaboration with HR, including setting up their hardware, software accounts, and access to relevant systems (ie. Work with the third-party and collaborate with Jolera to escalate and resolve more complex IT problems, ensuring minimal downtime and quick fixes.
Maintain accurate documentation of IT processes, user guides, and system configurations.
Network Management
Design, configure, and maintain the company’s local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), wireless network, and other related infrastructure.
Monitor and optimize network performance, addressing connectivity issues and coordinating with Jolera for advanced network troubleshooting.
Manage security protocols, including firewalls, VPNs, and access controls, ensuring the integrity and security of the network.
Conduct regular network performance checks and collaborate with Jolera on network upgrades and security patches.
Newstar RDS Support
Provide specialized support for Newstar RDS, assisting users with troubleshooting, system setup, and optimization.
Work with the IT team and Jolera to manage Newstar RDS updates, bug fixes, and performance improvements.
Provide training and documentation to staff on best practices for using Newstar RDS.
Manage server infrastructure, ensuring the uptime and performance of core systems such as Windows Server, Active Directory, and email servers.
Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights for systems like Newstar RDS, file servers, and other key software.
Collaborate with Jolera for system migrations, cloud-based services integration, and any large-scale IT projects.
Ensure regular backups, system patches, and security updates across all IT systems.
3+ years’ of experience in IT support, network administration, or systems administration roles
~ Familiar with network design and implementation.
~ Knowledge of SQL databases
~ Knowledge of cloud-based services such as AWS or Azure.
~ Strong understanding of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
~ Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining systems such as, Windows, Apple OS.

Collaborate with the Corporate Marketing team to create and publish HR focused content for LinkedIn and internal Employee Portal.
Maintain employee data and digital employee files with the HRIS system and take an active role in the development and implementation of new modules.
Support and get involved in employee and labour relations, investigations, resignations, terminations, compensation, leaves, performance management, employee retention and recognition etc.
Assist in facilitation of presentations and training programs for staff.
Assists in the development, implementation and maintenance of special projects and initiatives and/or assignments as required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of successful experience in Human Resources
A Degree or Post Graduate Certification in Human Resources is preferred. A CHRP or CHRL is considered an asset.
You have a working knowledge of Human Resource databases including HRIS, Applicant Tracking Systems and recruitment websites. Experience with Dayforce would be considered an asset.
Excellent knowledge of a wide range of HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, HR administration, HRIS, employee relations, compensation principles, succession planning, performance management, policy design, employee engagement planning, and health & safety.

Reporting to the Senior Superintendent, the Site Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative needs of the project. The appropriate candidate should have 2 years administrative experience in a construction environment.
Coordinate deliveries of materials to site in an organized manner
Manage incoming and outgoing mail, resource room schedules, various spreadsheets and training materials
Support site team in all administrative functions
Update production schedule bi-weekly for Superintendent(s)
2 years of administrative experience in a fast paced, high volume, construction environment.
~ Skills in building relationships with a broad network of contacts, including trade partners and suppliers
~ Proficient with MS Office software; experience with NEWSTAR an asset
