The team uses automation and agentic techniques as implementation tools to improve discovery, comprehension, and self‐serve user journeys across departments—while maintaining security, entitlements, and policy controls by design.**Accountabilities & Qualifications:****Accountabilities**• Architect, design, and evolve reusable Data Enablement services with explicit outcomes (time-to-discovery, time-to-access, data trust signals) and measurable adoption targets• Drive adoption of services through evangelization and advocacy: engage users, understand needs, and iterate the product roadmap to maximize value across departments• Design for performance, scalability, resiliency, and security-by-design; implement DevSecOps principles, automation, and operational excellence (SLOs, observability, incident response)• Create solution architecture artifacts (HLD/LLD, threat models where applicable) and obtain approvals through Architecture Review Board (ARB) and Information Security (Infosec) processes• Partner with Cloud Foundation and Data Foundation teams to implement enablement solutions aligned to enterprise standards, shared services, and platform guardrails• Set architecture standards for portal experiences, programmatic interfaces (APIs/SDKs), and consumption services, ensuring interoperability with the Enterprise Data Fabric and data catalog• Own the operating model for consumer enablement services (product governance, usage/adoption dashboards, health metrics) and drive continuous improvement• Establish talent development, coaching, and engineering excellence across Lead and Senior engineers; set expectations and raise the bar on delivery and operations**Leadership Expectations**• Enterprise Focus: Build durable relationships across Technology and Investment departments; align the pod’s roadmap to enterprise outcomes and stakeholder priorities while balancing risk, cost, and time-to-value• Strategic Thinking: Translate federated data products and platform strategy into a coherent multi-quarter roadmap; make trade-offs explicit; design for scale, reuse, and sustainability• Constructive Engagement: Influence without authority; drive alignment across Cloud Foundation, Data Foundation, domain pods, Architecture, and Infosec; communicate decisions clearly and manage competing priorities effectively• Deliberate Execution: Establish operating rhythms, measurable adoption/SLO metrics, and delivery discipline; ensure high-quality solution architecture artifacts and governance approvals (ARB/Infosec) are obtained on time**Qualifications*** 10+ years of experience building and operating enterprise platforms and shared services, including web portals and API ecosystems* Strong experience with cloud platform engineering (AWS), including networking, security, and multi-account environments* Solid understanding of identity and access management (IAM, authentication/authorization patterns)* Experience with API and service-based architectures (REST/GraphQL, event-driven patterns, resiliency design)* Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code and DevSecOps practices (e.g., Terraform, CI/CD, security controls)* Experience with observability and reliability practices (monitoring, alerting, incident response, continuous improvement)* Strong experience in API design and standards (OpenAPI/Swagger, versioning, backward compatibility)* Experience working with structured data formats and schema processing (e.g., JSON)* Experience with platform governance, including solution architecture, ARB processes, and Information Security engagement* Proven ability to lead cross-team delivery and align multiple stakeholders using an outcome-driven approach**Nice to have*** Experience with knowledge graph and semantic modeling (e.g., Neptune, RDF/Turtle, lineage, ontology design)* Experience with agentic or orchestration frameworks (e.g., AWS Bedrock, LangChain, LlamaIndex)* Understanding of retrieval approaches such as RAG and GraphRAG* Experience with vector search technologies (e.g., OpenSearch, Pinecone, Weaviate)* Familiarity with containerization and platform operations (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes/EKS)* Experience with data query and serving platforms (e.g., Redshift Serverless, Trino, StarRocks)* Familiarity with distributed data processing and orchestration (e.g., Airflow, EMR, Spark)* Experience with governed data access patterns (e.g., Lake Formation entitlements)**Preferred certifications**
