Lifeguarding is an exciting and rewarding job that carries great responsibility. The Senior Lifeguard oversees the smooth delivery of scheduled programs, provide functional direction and guidance to staff and volunteers while maintaining open lines of communication with patrons, staff, and supervisors. Senior Lifeguards are focused on ensuring the safety of our members by enforcing policies, rules, and regulations. THE ROLE As a Sales Clerk, you provide retail services to a unique client base - members of the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) and in assisting them, you are helping your community. You assist in the set-up of the electronics, computers, appliances, and furniture departments and provide technical and professional advice on sales and products offered. You assist with ordering stock and ensure that shelves are stocked, faced, and properly signed. You explain and sell extended warranty programs and accessories. The Sales Clerk may also provide a variety of other retail services, including regular retail services, dry cleaning, lottery services, self-serve gas services, and postal services. You will operate Point of Sales systems, the debit/credit machine, and maintain a float.
