We are looking for a permanent Director, Tax to join our Finance and Strategy team in Saskatoon! The Opportunity Lead corporate domestic tax, international tax, and transfer pricing compliance across all Canpotex entities and jurisdictions. Manage relationships with global tax advisory firms and partner with local accounting teams and external auditors to deliver accurate, timely filings. Oversee corporate income tax return filings, assessment reconciliations, and installment calculations/submissions. Prepare and file required indirect/local tax returns (e.g., GST/consumption) and reconcile filings to accounting records. Maintain tax calendars, own tax accounting deliverables, including monthly tax accruals, deferred tax calculations, tax rate proofs, and related financial statement disclosure. Proactively monitor tax law changes and incentives; lead tax audits/reviews/examinations and coordinate responses with stakeholders and authorities. You’ll Bring CPA Designation is required. A minimum of 10 years of progressive tax experience, including at least 5 years at a senior level Completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course and taxation experience with United States, Singapore, Brazil, and/or China would be considered an asset.
