  • Software Verification & Validation Test Engineer Software Verification, Validation & Test Engineering Support (VTE) is responsible for performing verification and validation (V&V) activities on train functions, Train Control subsystems (TCMS, PACIS), and components (Software, Schematics & Apparatus) within the assigned project scope. Milestone Management: Supervise and control project landmarks, ensuring timely delivery and quality. Organize and facilitate major landmark meetings, including data collection, KPI updates, and critical path analysis. Communication and Coordination: Act as the Work Package Focal Point, coordinating all work package-related aspects between the Purchaser (Airbus) and the Service Provider. Maintain regular communication with the Technical Coordinators and other stakeholders. Participate in regular review meetings, including Kick-off Meetings (KoM), Monthly Technical Acceptance Reviews (MTAR), and Final Project Meetings (FPM). Lead deliverables across various project phases: Opportunity Study, Initiating, Planning, Monitoring and Controlling, and Closing. Ensure deliverables meet the defined acceptance criteria and are delivered on time. Travel and Location: Be physically present at the Mirabel site for a minimum of three days per week. Up to two days of telework per week may be permitted, subject to managerial discretion. Organize and handle travel arrangements as required for project execution.   • Overview Senior Stress Engineer - In Service Repairs – Mirabel, QC (Hybrid) Responsibilities Interact with a multidisciplinary team in the development of structural repair solutions. Perform static strength, durability, and damage tolerance analyses for specific or generic structural metallic repairs in support to the Commercial Aircraft fleet. Support the completion of various aircraft structural manuals such as Aircraft Structural Repair Publication and Aircraft Maintenance Publication. Update or review stress analysis reports covering repairs or allowable damage limits to metallic structures. Qualifications Holds a degree in mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with experience of minimum of eight (8) years in stress analysis in the aerospace industry including a minimum of three (3) years performing DTA on aircraft primary structures. You have good knowledge in aircraft metallic structure stress analysis (practical experience on commercial aircraft structures), and interrogating aircraft structure repair drawings (CATIA V5). Proficient with tolerance analysis (experience with NASGRO and Golihat) and MS Office software. You have a good understanding of applicable airworthiness regulations (experience with Transport Canada is an asset) and Proficient in English (French nice to have).
