Cascadia Metals is actively seeking candidates for the General Labourer position at our Calgary branch. This role involves packaging orders, building skids, general housekeeping, etc. This position does NOT require experience. However, preference will be given to those with warehousing and steel experience. Forklift experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Responsibilities
Package pipe into bundles using a bander and metal wire
Operate a forklift to move material within the warehouse and yard
Building wood pallets using a nail gun
Transfer steel pipe from one skid to another manually
Count pieces for order fulfilment and complete order paperwork
General material handling and housekeeping
Requirements
Must be reliable and punctual
Steel handling and warehouse experience preferred but not mandatory
Forklift experience preferred but not mandatory
Flexibility: able to multi-task and work as part of a team
Able to read orders and complete essential paperwork
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
