We are seeking a full-time janitor to work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, overseeing the cleanliness and good upkeep of a heritage building in Ottawa. The job includes daily janitorial tasks, notably: sweeping, vacuuming and mopping of public areas, cleaning of washrooms, managing the inventory of janitorial supplies, basic external lawn care tasks around the property, recycling and garbage management, and occasional minor repairs. The gross annual salary is $40,000, paid through bi-weekly payroll. Benefits include paid vacation time and extended health benefits.
