The Role As the Engagement Manager for our Project & Interim division, you will align resources and activities to build proactive relationships with key stakeholders of existing clients and ensure the acquisition of new clients as well as growth within our current client base.
This position is ideal for a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a passion for building client relationships, exploring new business opportunities, and contributing to the overall success of our organization.
What You’ll Do Develop new business through networking, cold calling, social selling, and client nurturing Develop and implement strategies to build meaningful relationships with finance and data analytics leaders. Lead and manage a portfolio of client engagements, including industry research Consult clients through different stages of their growth, and guide them through any challenges they face to help evolve their finance function Advise clients on the talent market for the positions they are hiring for Design and execute strategic initiatives and solutions tailored to the client's needs Place finance, accounting, and data analytics talents within scale-up and enterprise growth companies to drive their high-growth strategic finance initiatives Seek opportunities to generate/upsell services to new and existing clients Focus on building consistency in business development to fuel the continued growth of Clarity Recruitment’s Project & Interim division Create a win-win scenario with clients using your negotiation skills Help build out processes that enable us to scale the business Help elevate the discipline of recruitment by building an optimal client experience Collaborate with other divisions to uncover cross-sell opportunities and with the candidate-facing Recruitment team to fill roles Able to attend in-person staff meetings/events at our Oakville or Toronto (ON) office locations as needed or required
What You’ll Need Undergraduate degree, preferably in Business or Economics Finance and Accounting professionals, specifically CPAs are a bonus You have 3-5 years in B2B sales role or previous recruitment industry experience Accounting and Finance recruitment experience strongly preferred Ability to sell and develop business through cold calling and relationship-building You are an experienced sales/recruitment leader with strong networking skills and the ability to connect with finance executives You consistently achieve or exceed targets. You have demonstrated resilience in managing ambiguity in a startup environment You have high emotional intelligence: you will be interacting with finance leaders within scale-up and enterprise growth companies. It is critical that you can find common ground to establish trust with contacts Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn SalesNav, Zoominfo, Bullhorn would be an asset

Become the Engagement Manager you want to be, 12-MONTHS into your role: At this point, you’ll be acquiring accounts and bringing in your own engagements You will be nurturing accounts and prospecting new ones Networking events will become your domain as you develop our brand You have mastered utilizing our proprietary technology and other technical aspects Collaborate as part of company-wide recruitment on internal innovations to make a great recruitment team, even better Build and expand your foundational industry knowledge, capitalizing on your understanding of effective finance structures. As a forecasting wizard, your enhanced ability to read the market will inform your projections, strategies, and insights.
