We are currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician with Frac Experience to join our Red Deer Service Shop Team. This position will diagnose, repair, and maintain bi-fuel engines, including troubleshooting and internal engine repairs. Performing preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing on heavy equipment as well as troubleshooting and repairing transmission and hydraulic systems are a frequent service requests in this position.
In this role, you will also be responsible to:
- Conduct pre- and post-repair testing to ensure equipment performance.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools are in proper working order.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to client needs efficiently.
- Accurately complete required documentation, including service reports and warranty claims.
- Support and mentor junior technicians and apprentices.
- Follow workplace health and safety standards.
- Work overtime as needed to meet business demands.
Qualifications and Skills

- Journeyman Certification as Heavy Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty Mechanic

We are looking for a full-time Field Service Technician to join our Red Deer Service Team. The ideal candidate is an organized team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while efficiently operating a Collicutt service truck.
Primary Job Functions:Perform emergency field service, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on customer equipment, including generators, engines, and compressors.Conduct startups, new product commissioning, calibrations, and load bank tests.Test and verify electrical components, including energized components and electrical fields.Maintain productive customer relations and promptly address customer needs.Communicate unresolved issues to the Field Service Supervisor.Complete high-quality service documentation, including worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality reports.Maintain service vehicle, tools, company-assigned devices, and driver logs.Participate in 24-hour on-call rotation and provide off-duty customer phone support.Mentor and support junior staff and apprentices for future development.Adhere to safety, quality, and company values.
