POSITION SUMMARY: Ply Gem Canada is seeking a highly motivated Customer Service Representative to join our customer service . Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, the Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing customer support and maintaining positive customer relations while responding to problems and inquiries. Additionally, this successful candidate will work towards maintaining productive working relationships with internal and external customers and coordinating all aspects of siding, allied, and promotional orders from receipt to delivery.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
As the Customer Service Representative you will be required to perform the following functions:
Communicate with customers through email, phone and in person responding to queries in a professional manner, asking the necessary questions required to ensure the correct product and or issue has been identified.
Represent the warranties and charging policies of Ply Gem Canada for the service being requested, clearly communicating any charges, and those payments due upon the arrival of our Field Technician's arrival
Enter all the data into AccuQuote (Ply Gem software) ensuring complete and accurate information. clearly documenting all service issues on the service order pertaining to the service work that is to be done.
Ensure accuracy of all parts entered. Request/process payment prior to ordering for all chargeable service if account does not have credit terms.
Clearly enter all notes provided by service technicians while on site. Process paperwork to completion. Reorder parts if necessary.
Effectively communicate with customers through email, portals, phone, text and in person based on account requirements. Work well with internal customers including sales, dispatch, production control and distribution when required.
Have an excellent level of knowledge of product specifications and you have the ability to think clearly and quickly and make decisions based upon your knowledge.
Thorough communication with other interdependent departments, represent Service in meetings, review and conform to the corporate and departmental operating procedures. Maintain and create Department Operating Procedures, call and confirm access for builders and homeowners.
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.

Qualifications
Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience required
Industry experience and warranty experience are considered strong assets

Position Summary
Reporting to the Director, Product Management & Pricing, the Product Manager, Windows & Doors, is responsible for the overall management of assigned product lines, including portfolio planning, lifecycle management, and coordination of day-to-day product activities. This role partners cross-functionally to execute short and long-term strategies that support business growth, profitability, and customer experience.
KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Product Leadership
Support the strategic priorities of the Ply Gem brand in Calgary, AB and North Star in Ontario, including sales and marketing assessments, R&D roadmap development, NPD, ECN, portfolio health, product rationalization, special products, and long-term innovation planning.
Serve as the VOC for sales teams, dealers, and end customers, ensuring customer needs are reflected in product strategy and execution.
Conduct ongoing market and situation analysis, including industry trends, customer feedback, and competitive gap assessments to identify opportunities and risks.
Develop and execute a national windows and doors product strategy in partnership with Product Development, Quality, Manufacturing, and Commercial teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as a senior cross-functional partner to sales, engineering, purchasing, marketing, manufacturing, finance, product development, and other functional teams to define, communicate, and execute short and long-term business objectives.
Collaborate within Stage Gate and integrated business processes to ensure disciplined execution of product initiatives.
Build strong working relationships with team members located across Canada and the United States, including remote and on-site teams.
Financial & Portfolio Management
Lead pricing and positioning strategies for new and existing products, including target costs and list prices.
Apply strong financial analysis skills to evaluate business cases, identify key assumptions, and develop high-level financial models to support NDP, portfolio changes, and investment decisions.
Drive product lines to achieve contribution margin and profitability targets.
Partner closely with Pricing Analysts to analyze sales performance, pricing effectiveness, and profitability.
Use lifecycle analysis, market research, and industry insights to maintain a balanced and financially effective product portfolio.
Execution & Reporting
Act as the focal point for all activities related to assigned product lines, coordinating day-to-day "run-the-business" activities.
Prepare and present monthly and annual product reports, business cases, and performance insights to key stakeholders.
Ensure production elements (e.g., samples, colour chips, packaging) are delivered on time to support product launches and ongoing sales needs.
Marketing & Sales Enablement
Support marketing communications strategies aligned to product, channel, and brand priorities.
Ensure development, maintenance, and distribution of sales enablement tools, including product literature, installation manuals, and training materials.
Communicate product-related updates (e.g., new products, changes, pricing updates, competitive insights) to internal and external audiences.

Qualifications
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of relevant business experience, including at least five (5) years of direct product management experience with accountability for portfolio performance.
Proven experience in product management within a hard-goods manufacturing environment, with pricing, profitability, and lifecycle management.
Strong experience with Stage Gate/NPD processes and Integrated Business Planning.
Building products industry experience required; windows and doors industry experience strongly preferred.
