We are currently seeking a full-time, on-site Epoxy Flooring Labourer in the GTA. This position entails preparing surfaces, mixing/applying epoxy, and ensuring the quality of installations. Responsibilities include maintaining tools, keeping the workspace clean, and managing project materials. The ideal candidate will be able to collaborate effectively within a team to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Requirements:
* Experience in surface preparation, epoxy mixing, and application* Proficiency with flooring tools and equipment* Attention to detail and a commitment to quality* Physical capacity for manual labour in various environments* Strong communication and teamwork skills* Understanding of workplace safety standards* Prior experience in epoxy flooring or related construction is beneficial* A clear criminal record check and driving record may be required for certain job sites* Working at Heights, WHMIS, and 4 Step Health & Safety Awareness safety certificates are mandatory
Job Responsibilities:
* Load, unload, and transport materials to work areas* Assist with floor grinding and preparation* Sweep, vacuum, and maintain the work area* Comprehensive epoxy application training will be provided* Mix, pour, and spread materials (epoxy, sealer) under supervision* Support equipment operators with floor preparation* Occasional travel and overnight stays may be required based on project needs
Typical work week: Monday – Friday, with 8-10 hour shiftsStarting salary: $22-25/hour
