    About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated, curious, and intelligent Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Marketing & Sales team at our headquarters in Vancouver, BC. We will also consider excellent candidates who can work remotely from Canada and cover the Eastern time zone and/or EMEA from their home office. As a D3 SDR, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth by engaging with outbound leads and executing strategic campaigns. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to jumpstart their career in sales within the cybersecurity industry.

    What you’ll be doing… Conduct outbound calls, send personalized emails, and leverage LinkedIn to engage with prospects. Qualify leads to assess their fit for D3's SOAR platform. Conduct thorough research to understand prospects' needs and pain points. Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and execute targeted campaigns. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of lead interactions in the CRM system. Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly targets for lead generation and qualification.
    What you'll bring to the table... Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Hunger for success and ability to exceed targets Ability to work independently, and outside normal work hours on occasion Tech-savvy; has used SDR sales tools before or has the ability to learn them quickly Curiosity…isn't afraid to ask prospects “why are you doing X that way?” or “what tools are you using?” or “what needs to be improved in your security workflows?” Bonus points If you have an understanding of different cybersecurity tools and services. Completed degree or diploma is a plus, but not required.

You will be managing software implementation projects of medium to high complexity while contributing to product development. You will be facilitating to gather, validate and manage requirements with the goal of understanding business needs and translating them into a solution. You will also play a key role in communication, setting expectations and managing scope, quality, cost and timeline. This role is a key customer-facing position within the development team that includes: Business Analysis: Facilitate requirement gathering sessions using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis /process mapping. Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding. Proactively communicate and collaborate with customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver project artifacts such as: functional requirements (business requirements document), use cases, screen and interface designs, data flow diagrams, workflow diagrams, training documents etc. Collaborate with developers to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability, performance, and scope. Be the liaison between the business units/customers, technology teams and support teams through which requirements flow. Lead the verification and management of requirements throughout the project. Assist with the definition and continuous improvement of BA processes and interactions with other IT areas. Make recommendations to improve the overall effectiveness and efficiency of the business. Project Management: Direct and manage all phases of the project from inception to completion to ensure on-time delivery. Assemble and coordinate project team members, assign individual responsibilities and follow-ups. Monitor and control all project activities, issues, changes requests, risks and overall quality of deliverables. Plan and oversee the preparation and dissemination of all project communications including updates to the master project portfolio and project calendar. Communicate with project sponsors, senior management and functional area managers and/or consultants regarding the status of specific projects through formal and informal verbal and written communication method. Manage multiple initiatives/projects simultaneously. Education and Experience: Degree in Computer Science or Engineering. Three (3) or more years of project management experience, preferably in an IT Infrastructure or IT Security field. Possession of a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset. Ability to manage ten or more projects simultaneously. Demonstrated Project Management (PM) competencies: budget and timeline management, scope management, risk management, timely decision making, effective team building, ability to prioritize and delegate appropriately and deal with changing priorities.
