What we’re looking for We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Financial Analyst who will be focused on Costing and Transfer Pricing . This position will be based out of our Manufacturing facility in Etobicoke . This position offers a hybrid work schedule , 3 days a week in-office and 2 days a week work-from-home. What you’d be doing in this role Manage and improve our standard costing process for a large volume of items, including developing standard costs for new products and updating all active items on an annual basis. Data integrity. Ensure BOMs (Bill of Materials) have been validated before cost is released. Work closely with procurement to ensure the cost of raw materials and packaging are correct and in line with negotiated prices with suppliers. Serve as a key financial partner for the new product launch team, providing timely and accurate costing analysis for new products, product changes, and innovation initiatives. Work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment to complete ad hoc costing requests, monthly closing procedures, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and management reports. Conduct detailed variance analysis, providing insights on material, labor, and overhead variances. Identify opportunities to improve costing accuracy and efficiency, working with IT and supply chain teams to implement changes. Support manufacturing teams to understand and address root cause analysis for labor, material, efficiency, and overhead losses. Conduct SOX compliance activities and support internal and external audits. Manage and maintain the company's transfer pricing policies and procedures and execution of our annual transfer pricing update. Collaborate with tax, accounting, and international business units to ensure compliance with global transfer pricing policy and conduct regular analyses of intercompany transactions to ensure communicated transfer price is accurate. Skills and qualifications needed to get the job done Minimum of 3 years of experience in a related position, preferably in manufacturing University Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and CPA designation or working toward it. Strong analytical skills and technical accounting knowledge, with proven experience in managing large datasets and item volumes. Standard costing experience in an ERP environment (D365 or SAP is an asset). Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel skills. P.Eng., PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Black Belt certifications are an asset. 1–2 years of experience in engineering or processing.
