About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team and manage the development of Energy Management System (EMS) projects for utility grade systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members, stakeholders, and third‑party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project/program management, product ownership, a passion for sustainable energy and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic startup‑like environment. The Project Manager for EQ‑S will play a pivotal role in defining the project's objectives, tracking of milestones, escalations, and overseeing quality control/deliverables throughout its life cycle from concept to deployment. With execution team members, leaders and architects, external vendors, customer, you will co‑ordinate leading software and hardware projects for products used for energy solution digitalization, system performance analytics and grid energy management systems.
Responsibilities
Project Planning and Management:
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop full‑scale project plans and associated communications documents.
Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Prepare, negotiate and manage design engineering contracts.
Schedules due dates for drawings, specifications, software, technical manuals, and other documents required to complete technical proposals and commercialization.
Direct and support the Engineer in leading the engineering activities.
Resource Co‑ordination and Management:
Estimate the resources (tools, licenses) and participants needed to achieve project goals.
Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
Determine and assess the need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary, during project cycle.
Support cultivating a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning
Project Execution and Control:
Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
Develop and deliver progress reports (e.g. biweekly, monthly), proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
Define project success criteria; identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
Direct and support leadership in coordinating day‑to‑day project management activities.
Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Project Reporting:
Reports project status and performance data as required to management, project sponsors and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with execution team leadership to implement state‑of‑the‑art project management tools.
Monitors the status of the project to ensure documentation is submitted according to schedule.
Reviews and verifies project documents for completeness, format, and compliance with contract requirements.
Take ownership of their work and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Adhere to all environmental, health and safety rules and policies

Required Qualifications and Skills
Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) degree or diploma
Minimum 3 years’ experience in managing complex projects in hardware, embedded software and cloud domain, with preference for experience in utility‑scale renewable projects
Strong negotiation, facilitation, risk management and consensus building skills.
Knowledge of Energy Storage system or similar applications is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally and influence positively a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple projects, and execute in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment with a strong ownership mentality.
Expert knowledge of creating business requirements, work plans, project schedules and associated project artifacts.
Professional‑level capabilities with project management tools (e.g., MS 365 and Microsoft Project).
Ability to function successfully both independently and within a team
Work will be performed in a standard office environment, in front of a computer monitor.
Knowledge of control system design, modeling, and simulation engineering is a plus
Able to work independently on assigned tasks and elevate roadblocks and risk mitigation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
Passion for clean technology innovation and building systems from scratch.
Have domain experience with battery energy or similar storage systems is a plus
Excellent problem‑solving, critical thinking skills and attention to detail. Additional Requirements:
Experience with agile development methodologies and modern software engineering practices.
Familiarity with energy industry regulations, standards, and protocols.
A willingness to travel as needed to support customer engagements and team collaboration.

About the Role
We are seeking a Delivery Engineer to act as the bridge between software development and hardware deployment teams for our utility‑scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The ideal candidate will bring strong technical foundations in renewable energy, combined with a collaborative mindset to drive cross‑functional success. This role focuses on facilitating deployments, ensuring the seamless integration of EMS software, data systems, and hardware, and providing hands‑on support for both factory acceptance testing (FAT) and project onboarding.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the deployment of EMS software and data pipelines in both factory (FAT) and field project environments.
Act as the primary interface between data, software, and hardware teams, ensuring smooth integration of EMS software, data systems, and site infrastructure.
Work closely with the software and controls team to support end‑to‑end data validation from field devices to EMS.
Implement Layer 2/3 switch configurations, VLANs, routing, and firewall policies to support redundant and deterministic communication.
Validate communication architectures using a wide range of protocols, including Modbus TCP/RTU, DNP3, IEC 61850, IEC 60870‑5‑104, OPC UA.
Configure communication networks for EMS systems in BESS and hybrid renewable plants.
Review, update communication diagram, data flow diagram.
Validate software and hardware architecture per project requirements.
Integration Support
Oversee data pipeline operations, ensuring accurate ingestion, transformation, and storage of time‑series telemetry, alarms, and metadata.
Validate data mapping and integration between EMS, SCADA, inverters, BMS, and analytics platforms.
Support the continuous improvement of data quality, reliability, and scalability across projects.
Develop and maintain scripts (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell) for device configuration and testing, diagnostics, etc.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s or Electrical Engineering, or related field.
In‑depth understanding of industrial communication protocols (Modbus TCP/RTU, DNP3), data mapping, and device integration.
Solid foundation in networking (routing, VLANs, STP, NAT, firewall rules) and industrial switch configuration (Cisco, Hirschmann, Moxa, etc.).
Proficiency in Python for automation and data workflows, and C++ for EMS integration and hardware interfacing.
Experience working with SCADA/EMS platforms, protocol gateways, or middleware.
Strong problem‑solving, documentation, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
Willingness to travel for FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.
Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% national and internationally to project sites and vendor facilities.

Position Summary
The Senior Project Director will be responsible for overseeing a regional project implementation team that will include Project Directors, Project Managers, Project Coordinators and Construction Managers for BESS projects. Providing leadership and decision‐making project scope including but not limited to schedules, budgets, changes / variations, and dispute resolution. The individual will liaise with internal departments (Commercial, Engineering, Quality, Commissioning, Service, Accounting, Legal and Procurement), the client / owner, equipment suppliers, EPC’s / BOP’s and various subcontractors. Department management, project management, contract review and EPC construction experience is required as well as demonstrated influence, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop regional project implementation team including Project Directors, Project Managers, Project Coordinators and Construction Managers
Assist in creating Annual Operating Plans (resources, operating expenses) and then adhering to plan throughout calendar year
Review, approve, and provide decision making for project schedules, budgets (expenses), scope changes / variations, quality and risks
Determine and assign resources to cross‑functional projects of high complexity working with internal departments including Commercial, Engineering, Quality, Commissioning, Service, Accounting, Legal and Procurement
Review and provide input on contract documentation including head agreements and schedules for EPC and battery supply contracts, EPC / BOP subcontracts and equipment supply agreements
Meet with senior level stakeholders (client, suppliers, internal) to negotiate and resolve conflicts
Assist in estimation of project costs and development of project schedules / timelines
Oversee and determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas
Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members and determine key performance indicators to monitor performance
Organize project lesson learned reviews to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the CS e‑Storage Code of Business Conduct
Adhere to and enforce all health and safety rules and company policies
Complete other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Civil) or Business degree or diploma
Minimum 10 years experience in managing construction projects and 5 years managing direct reports
Experience with utility scale renewable construction projects, preferably in Battery Energy Storage Systems
Solid and effective interpersonal and communication skills (including oral, written and visual)
Strong negotiation, facilitation, risk management and consensus building skills
Knowledge of general and national codes, medium voltage power systems and photovoltaic or Energy Storage system applications is required
