     Nature of the Work

    As a Teacher in the Vocational Training and/or Business Services, you will be delivering high-quality, hands-on instruction in the sector of your Trade. As part of our vocational training programs, continuing education or custom trainings according to the clients needs. You will support adult learners in developing the practical skills they need to thrive in today’s business world.

     Key Responsibilities


    Prepare lesson plans tailored to adult learners.
    Deliver engaging, practical, and interactive instruction.
    Assess and track student progress toward learning outcomes.
    Cover key concepts according to the program of studies or the course outline.
    Foster an inclusive bilingual (English/French) learning environment.


    Support learners in both digital and in-person settings




    Required qualifications




    Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:


    Hold (or be in the process of obtaining) a valid Quebec teaching authorization: teaching certificate (brevet d’enseignement), a teaching permit, or a provisional authorization.
    Hold a vocational education, college education, or bachelor's degree in their field of specialization


    For diplomas obtained abroad, the comparative evaluation of studies completed outside Quebec issued by the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Francisation et de l'Intégration attesting that you have a bachelor's degree is required.

    The candidate must have several years of experience in the field of specialization

    Evaluates the financial needs of the school board
    Gathers information from school and service administrators and identifies potential problem areas

    Qualifications required

    Nature of the work 




    The principal and customary work of an employee in this class of employment consists in carrying out the maintenance work as well as the preventive and physical upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment.

    The role also consists in the handling and transportation of goods, furniture and other materials. In general, the employee works according to instructions or under the supervision of a caretaker, night caretaker, foreman, maintenance workman, class I or a qualified workman.

    In addition, he or she may be required to perform the characteristic functions of the class of employment of maintenance workman, class III.




    Description of tasks
