Position OverviewWe are seeking an energetic and experienced District Manager to oversee our Kelowna and Chilliwack solid waste operations. This role will play a crucial leadership function in managing two sites, which are preparing for the launch of two major contracts: Chilliwack Residential Collection and Recycle BC. The District Manager will serve as the primary liaison between E360S and both municipal/contract partners, overseeing route planning, staffing, service delivery, and performance metrics. This leader will also carry full P&L accountability and manage both union and non-union teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational & Contract ManagementLead day-to-day operations across Kelowna and Chilliwack, ensuring efficient routing, staffing, service levels, and fleet management.Oversee readiness and rollout of the new Chilliwack and Recycle BC contracts.Act as the main point of communication between E360S and municipal/contract partners.Monitor and manage R&M budgets, fleet health, and equipment planning.Ensure service delivery meets contract standards, customer expectations, and compliance requirements.
People LeadershipLead and coach a diverse team including drivers, mechanics, and support staff.Provide leadership to both unionized and non-union teams.Address staffing challenges, particularly within mechanics - improve performance, restructure where needed.Support recruiting, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and succession planning.
