Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and highly presentable Corporate Office Cleaner to help maintain our pristine, state-of-the-art workspace. The successful candidate will contribute directly to creating a first-class workplace experience for employees and visitors. They will demonstrate strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work independently while upholding exceptional standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain overall cleanliness of office spaces including workstations, executive offices, meeting rooms, common areas, kitchens, and washrooms
Service meeting rooms before, during, and after meetings to ensure they remain clean and presentable
Vacuum, sweep, mop, and maintain all flooring surfaces
Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, interior glass, doors, and partitions
Clean and sanitize washrooms, ensuring supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels are consistently stocked
Manage waste removal, including regular garbage runs throughout the day
Maintain kitchen areas, follow scheduled cleaning times, restock supplies, and ensure refrigerators are organized and stocked
Receive grocery deliveries and properly store items
Monitor inventory of cleaning and kitchen supplies and report shortages
Follow established cleaning schedules, procedures, and health and safety standards
Use cleaning equipment and products safely and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Qualifications:
Previous cleaning or janitorial experience in a corporate or commercial office environment preferred
Strong communication skills and professional demeanor
Polished, presentable, and comfortable working in active office environments
High attention to detail with the ability to follow structured schedules
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Physically fit and capable of standing, bending, lifting, and carrying supplies throughout the shift
Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals is an asset
Resides locally within Aurora, Newmarket, Richmond Hill, or Markham preferred
