The Opportunity
The Sr Cloud Engineer at Euna Solutions is a key player responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of our cloud infrastructure. With a focus on continuous monitoring, incident response, and automation, the role encompasses alert management, compliance auditing, and proactive measures to optimize and scale cloud resources. This position requires a hands‑on approach to cloud resource provisioning, maintenance, and access control. The Sr Cloud Engineer plays a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity of our cloud infrastructure and supporting the seamless operation of critical services and products at Euna Solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure and resources to meet Euna’s requirements for scalability, reliability, security, and performance for public applications.
Implement monitoring solutions to track the performance, availability, and health of cloud resources and infrastructure.
Ensure that all cloud resources comply with industry standards and company policies regarding security and data protection.
Implement automation tools and frameworks for efficient deployment and management of cloud resources.
Implement and manage access controls for cloud infrastructure.
Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud resources.
Monitor cloud expenditure and implement strategies to control costs without compromising on performance and security.
Collaborate with development, SRE, and security teams to ensure cloud operations align with the company’s technical and business objectives.
Monitor and implement alert strategies for cloud infrastructure.
Take ownership of cloud infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed successfully.
Develop thorough documentation and diagrams to support and explain complex systems.
Guide and develop junior cloud engineers.
Participate in on‑call rotations.
Required Skills & Experience
At least 8 years in cloud computing, proficient in AWS.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Background in SaaS with experience across multiple product lines.
Extensive experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, as well as cloud‑native tools like CloudFormation, ARM, and Terraform.
Profound knowledge of cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS, with expertise in utilizing a wide range of cloud services such as EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, ECS, Lambda, etc.
Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python, PowerShell, Bash.
Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, capable of working across departments and with external parties.
Proficient in Git operations and version control, with hands‑on experience in GitHub, Bitbucket, or Azure DevOps.
Proficient in CDN technologies and offerings.
Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Expertise in Azure is a plus. Expertise in GCP is an additional plus.
Experience in cloud security and StateRAMP certification.
Previous experience with Jira.
Preferred Education
Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert certification or equivalent.

Compensation
Compensation Range: $115,000 - $145,000 base salary.

The Opportunity

As Euna Solutions grows, we are expanding our Technical Solutions Specialist team and are looking for team members with experience in building integrations and related skills.
The successful candidate’s primary role is the development of SQL‑based ETL integrations between the Euna Budget Pro budgeting system and third‑party systems. You will work closely with internal resources and directly with customers to design, develop, and implement robust data exchange solutions. Your expertise in SQL development and data integration will be critical to ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow across platforms.
In addition to integrations, you will also support the development of SSRS reports for Euna Budget Pro customers. As technology evolves, so will Euna’s reporting capabilities, expanding into Microsoft Power BI or similar technologies. The successful candidate will have the capability and interest to grow with us in both integration and reporting domains.
Most Technical Solutions Team members also spend time supporting our Application Support team as a second‑tier escalation point.
The Euna Budget Pro application is built on a Microsoft stack of Azure App Services, C#, JavaScript, and SQL Azure; hosted in the Azure cloud; and allows end‑user single sign‑on via authentication technologies such as LDAP, ADFS, and SAML. You will be encouraged to contribute and enhance your experience in the installation, tuning, and configuration of these technologies.
What You’ll Do
Build ETL processes in SQL to exchange data between Euna Budget Pro and third‑party systems
Work with Euna Budget Pro Implementation Managers, Consultants, and customers to design and develop custom SSRS reports
Design and develop custom data views for use in: in‑product reports or dashboards; external reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, etc.); or custom reports
Handle multiple integration and reporting implementations concurrently
Attain an understanding of the Euna Budget Pro system to provide 2nd‑Tier application support
Carry out migrations from customer on‑premise installations to our Azure platform
Provide expertise to other departments within Euna Budgets
Who You Are
Essential Knowledge:
