    Position Overview
    As an experienced Guest Service Agent, you understand the importance of an efficient and welcoming check-in experience for our guests. You are committed to going above and beyond to make their stay memorable. With your engaging smile, warm personality and customer service focus, you will be empowered to curate incredible experiences.
    Our Guest Service Agents have significant exposure to Evergreen’s regional management, with the opportunity to take on as much responsibility as they can demonstrate the capability for. Over time, there may be opportunities to transfer to other Evergreen properties, depending on aptitude/interest.
    Responsibilities
    Check guests in and out of the hotel with warm and engaging serviceAcknowledge guests waiting in lineConfirm the rate and type of room while checking the guest into the hotelUpon departure, offer a friendly greeting and ask if the stay was satisfactoryTake responsibility for any guest inquiries and problemsBe fully versed and competent in all aspects of Front Office operations and provide the highest levels of professional and prompt Guest ServiceAssist in the coordination and blocking of rooms for incoming groups and tour arrivalsOther duties as assigned

    Skills and qualifications
    A minimum of one year of experience as a Front Desk Agent in a mid to upscale environment requiring a similar standard of guest/customer service. A degree or diploma in hospitality may be considered in lieu of six (6) months of the required experienceProven ability to work well independently with minimal supervisionExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated ability to provide excellent service and exceed expectationsAbility to effectively solve problems and make decisionsProficient in the English language, both verbal & written, with a second language being an assetMust be able to handle a multitude of tasks in a busy, dynamic environment while remaining calm and collectiveMust be available to work flexible hoursMust have the ability to handle cash effectively and accuratelyImpeccable grooming and presentationA hospitality diploma is an assetPhysical ability to perform the requirements of the job, including: Standing for extended periods of timePerforming repetitive tasksLifting and carrying heavy loads
    Note: The position of Guest Service Agent is physically demanding. The successful applicant must be physically capable of performing repetitive work, as well as lifting and carrying heavy loads. Must be able to stand for long periods of time (for up to 8 hours).

    Job Description
    The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a critical role in leading the Housekeeping team to maintain high standards ofcleanliness, efficiency, and guest satisfaction at one of Evergreen’s market-leading properties. This position oversees all aspects of the housekeeping and laundry operation at a single hotel, and works hands-on to support a small, hardworking team. The supervisor also manages inventory and supply control, supports staffing and training, and contributes to overall guest satisfaction.
    The scope of responsibilities for the Housekeeping Supervisor includes:
    Property-Wide Housekeeping Oversight: Supervise daily housekeeping and laundry operations across diverse accommodation types, public areas, and amenity spaces.Assign room cleaning schedules based on occupancy, check-ins/outs, and guest requests.Conduct regular inspections to ensure rooms meet standards of cleanliness and presentation.Team Leadership & Support:Lead by example and provide hands-on assistance with cleaning, laundry, and set-up at peak times.Train and mentor staff, ensuring consistency in procedures and attention to detail across all units.Monitor staff performance and attendance.Guest Experience:Respond quickly and professionally to guest complaints or service requests.Ensure that all rooms are cleaned to meet guest expectations, including accommodating special requests such as allergies or celebrations.Coordinate early check-ins, late check-outs, and room changes with Front Desk staff.Inventory & Supplies Management:Maintain par levels of linens, amenities, and cleaning supplies in multiple supply points across the property.Track, rotate, and restock supplies to avoid shortages or waste.Conduct regular inventory counts.Health & Safety:Ensure staff follow WorkSafeBC regulations and safety procedures.Oversee proper handling and labeling of cleaning chemicals and PPE.Support environmentally sustainable cleaning practices in line with hotel goals.Communication & Coordination:Liaise with Front Desk and Maintenance teams to report issues, align on guest needs, and support smooth turnover of rooms.Communicate changes in occupancy, group bookings, and events to Housekeeping team.Participate in daily team briefings or operational meetings as required.
    Skills and qualifications
    Minimum 2 years of hotel or resort housekeeping experience; supervisory or lead role preferred.Comfortable with physical tasks and movement across uneven terrain and stairs.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Positive attitude with a problem-solving mindset and strong guest-service orientation.Able to lift up to 40 lbs and be on feet for extended periods.Proficiency with spreadsheets or digital checklists is an asset.Must be available weekends, holidays, and during peak season.

    Job Description
    We are looking for experienced hospitality professionals to join our team, with openings at multiple Evergreen properties on Vancouver Island and the Sunshine Coast. The Operations Manager is a key guest-facing role that provides hands-on leadership by role modelling outstanding customer service, coaching in-house staff, overseeing hotel operations, maximizing guest satisfaction, and driving overall business performance.
    The Operations Manager will have significant exposure to Evergreen’s senior leadership team, with the opportunity to take on as much responsibility as they can demonstrate capability for.
    The scope of responsibilities for the Operations Manager includes:Oversees day-to-day operations at the property, including front-of-house and back-of-house functions such as Guest Services, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Events, and Group businessPlays an active role in front desk operations (60-80% of time), providing top-notch service to maximize customer satisfaction and setting the bar for other staff to emulateReinforces our overall service culture by role modeling best practices, providing guidance / feedback to staff, and offering individual coaching when neededHandles complaints, settles disputes, resolves conflicts, and otherwise manages all escalationsServes as primary point of contact for group business (e.g., sports teams, corporate accounts, etc.) to coordinate logistics and deliver an exceptional guest experienceMonitors all aspects of the physical property (common spaces, on-site amenities, rooms, landscaping, etc.) to maintain quality standards and proactively identifies opportunities for improvementInteracts with customers to obtain feedback on quality of product, service levels and overall satisfaction; works with other departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, etc.) to improve current practicesManages staffing / scheduling across all departments at the propertyEnsures regular communication with employees to create awareness of business objectives, align on expectations, and recognize performanceDevelops a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape to ensure our property is effectively positioned in the market
