Position Summary The Site Supervisor will coordinate activities, resources, equipment and information and will keep the construction staff, and projects construction is working on and all related processes running smoothly. The Site Supervisor takes direction from the Construction Operations Manager and works toward optimizing Staff efficiency and completing projects within First Onsite acceptable levels. Focus on ensuring that the goals and needs of the Construction Department and First Onsite are being met and exceeded. Responsibilities Reviews, schedules and oversees all In house Work from Project Managers. Maintains a high level of Quality and Efficiency throughout the project i.e. Ensures Demo Meets First Onsite Quality Standards Produces Comprehensive Materials List for Repairs Reviews and provides Revisions to Scope before work commences if required Provides immediate direction and assistance to onsite crews Meets scheduled completion timetables Updates all parties involved on work progress and/or informing same of changes/additions to original work order or repair specifications. Build, lead and deploy the best quality team to achieving the objectives of our corporate strategic plan. Ensure that the company health and safety policies and procedures are followed for all First Onsite personnel and sub-contractors, including all branch personnel are up to date with all health and safety procedures and training and participates/conducts tail gate meetings relating to health and safety and work procedures when on site. Maintains detailed project schedules which include administrative tasks for multiple sites. Monitors Staff efficiency and effectiveness daily, review and authorise time sheets Inspect progress and work quality during and post repairs assuring all Scope requirements are met; reports outcomes to the COM Work activities may include physical labour, material handling and lifting, climbing ladders, wearing a respirator, and working in tight spaces (attics, basements, and crawlspaces) Qualifications & Experience Xactimate Estimation / Awareness Minimum 3 years experience with proven track record in construction Supervisor / foreman position with up to 25 reports, within the restoration/emergency (or a related) industry Detailed understanding of reconstruction practices for property that has suffered water, wind, mould, fire and vandalism damages Knowledge of building codes and electrical, or plumbing, or mechanical and related codes. Knowledge of the laws and ordinances regulating building construction. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Computer skills required effectively use Word, Excel, and Outlook. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT As an Administrative Assistant, you are an organizational expert! You manage multiple job files at one time from initiation through to receipt of payment. You are responsible for the quality of each file in terms of accuracy and completeness combined with making sure that timelines are met. Following our standard operating procedures, you complete data entry, tracking, and updates. If any filing issues occur, you report them to the management lead and assist in providing a plan of action. On a daily basis, you collaborate with Project Managers (PM) and Construction Managers (CM) regarding projects requiring attention and/or approaching deadlines to ensure no slippage in project planning. You continuously review projects to make sure that both the customers' and our standards/key performance indicators are being met.
