Job Duties: Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials, including foundations, walls, and roofs. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and materials required. Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials using hand and power tools. Build floor beams, subflooring, and walls and install drywall and insulation. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols and practices at all times. Skills and Employment Requirements: To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria: Education: Completion of secondary school. Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in framing or rough carpentry. Skills: o Proficient use of framing-related power tools. o Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines. o Strong understanding of workplace safety and risk management.
