Manage, plan and coordinate logistic movements with existing customers and develop new suppliers.
Use equipment tracking data to process real-time information for clients.
Constant contact with existing and new carriers to determine availability and negotiate transportation rates.
Price negotiation for 3PL services.
Maintain and grow relationships with carriers to move freight as per client's needs and fast-pace decision-making in resolving freight movement issues.
Resolve problems, including identifying issues, thinking critically to determine the best course of action, implementing solutions for gain of efficiency.
Maximize partnership, efficiency utilizing analytics and evaluate profits as per market fluctuations.
By nurturing strong carrier relationships, generate leads for future client identification.
Research and understand market trends, changes and seasonality as per type of industry.
Work in tandem with the internal team members to ensure client satisfaction.
Use equipment tracking data to process real-time information for clients.
Ensuring we are meeting client KPI'S requirements.
Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor's or Collegial degree in administration, logistic or other fields with at least 2-5 years of experience in logistic movements coordination.
Bilingualism (French and English) – Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages are required. The requirement of another language is required for this position as the candidate will be required to interact and communicate with clients, suppliers and colleagues throughout North America. For administrative positions permanently located in Quebec, knowledge of French is also required so that the incumbent can communicate, when necessary, with colleagues and suppliers in Quebec.

Gérer, coordonner et planifier les mouvements de cargaisons pour les comptes de clients.

Exigences et compétences:

Job Summary:
Lift and move products weighing up to 50 lbs.Operate a forklift to transport items within the warehouse.Load, unload, and manage merchandise using the Warehouse Management System (WMS).Inspect products for quality and utilize a scan gun for inventory management.Perform basic computer tasks, including printing, scanning, emailing, scheduling, and using Excel (basic proficiency).willing to learn.Willing work weekend occasionally
Skills & Qualifications:
Two (2) to four (4) years of experience in the forklift driving.Forklift driver competency cards (mandatory).Experience with shipping and receiving of heavy goods.Possess steel-toed shoes or boots.Bilingual: French and English. The requirement of another language is required for this position as the candidate will be required to interact and communicate with clients, suppliers and colleagues throughout necessary North America.Available to work flexible hours (when)Background check and reference verification will be conducted prior to final candidate selection.

Detailed Job Description
Answer and support all inquiries from internal Carrier Sales Managers and Dispatchers.Coordinate and confirm scheduled appointments with internal team, carriers, suppliers and clients.Enter and verify shipment tenders.Monitor and follow-up on on-time pickup and delivery.Prepare and provide daily tracing reports as required.Communicating orders, movement instructions, load movements, and other information to dispatchers, carriers and customers.Recording, maintaining and providing shipment arrival & departure information.Timely status information updates; documenting service performance and equipment tracking.Any other task requested related to scanning, documentation support, fax, and photocopies as a general support to the well-being of the operation.
Skills & Requirements
High school diploma, or equivalent with 1-3 years of experience in a similar type of position, ideally in a logistics work environment.Intermediate to advance with IT systems and Microsoft Suit.Advanced data entry skills.Good Analytical and fast decision-making abilities.Dynamic, good communication and customer service oriented.Good and fast execution and able to multitask.Good learning and organization abilities.
Compensation & Benefits
