    Job Summary:The Group Retirement Administrator plays a key role in the administration, compliance oversight, and risk assessment of employer-sponsored retirement plans including defined contribution pension plans, group RRSPs, and DPSPs. This role ensures that plans are administered in accordance with applicable legislation and regulatory standards, and provides expert guidance to clients, plan members, and internal teams. The role also involves reviewing fund structures, monitoring investment compliance, and managing the financial reporting requirements of pension arrangements.
    Key Responsibilities:Regulatory Compliance & Oversight:Examine pension plans, trust funds, and group retirement contracts to ensure compliance with the Pension Benefits Act, Income Tax Act, and other governing legislation.Participate in internal audits and collaborate with external partners to ensure ongoing compliance with provincial and federal retirement plan standards.Plan Administration:Maintain accurate records for all group retirement accounts including contributions, withdrawals, transfers, and investment instructions.Ensure timely processing and reconciliation of member transactions in accordance with contractual and legislative obligations.Risk Analysis & Financial Underwriting:Evaluate group plan structures, client demographics, and funding levels to assess financial and compliance risk.Collaborate with advisors and underwriters to prepare new plan proposals, renewals, and amendments including investment line-up recommendations.Analyze plan performance and member behavior to identify opportunities for plan improvement or cost optimization.Client Servicing & Communication:Respond to inquiries from plan sponsors and members regarding plan details, tax implications, investment options, and retirement readiness.Assist clients in interpreting statements, compliance notices, and other plan communications.Trust & Investment Management Support:Support the administration of trust-based plans by coordinating investment instructions, reconciling fund activity, and ensuring fiduciary responsibilities are met.Work with trustees, recordkeepers, and custodians to manage investment income disbursements and reporting.Continuous Learning & Development:Stay up to date on legislative changes, financial instruments, and industry best practices through ongoing training and education.Attend webinars, seminars, and workshops offered by industry bodies such as the Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) or Canadian Securities Institute (CSI).
    Skills / Qualifications:A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or a related field is typically required.Completion of courses in retirement planning, securities, or trust administration from recognized institutions (e.g., Canadian Securities Institute, IFIC, Trust Companies Institute of Canada) is considered an asset.Working knowledge of retirement legislation, tax treatment of contributions and benefits, and group savings plan structures is essential.Strong proficiency in MS Excel, financial reporting, and CRM systems.Bilingualism (English and French) is considered an asset, but not required.CFA, CIM, or other relevant financial designations are an asset but not mandatory.

    Job Summary:
    Gold Leaf’s IT & Digital Marketing Support Associate plays a dual role in supporting both the company’s technology infrastructure and digital marketing initiatives. This position ensures employees’ technology needs are met efficiently while actively contributing to Gold Leaf’s digital presence, content delivery, and marketing analytics.
    The ideal candidate is both technically skilled and creatively driven, able to troubleshoot complex IT issues while also helping design, optimize, and manage Gold Leaf’s online communication platforms. This role is central to ensuring smooth operations, consistent brand execution, and data-driven decision-making across all divisions.
    Key Responsibilities:Technology & Systems SupportProvide day-to-day IT support across all departments, ensuring seamless integration of digital tools and platforms.Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems to meet evolving business and marketing needs.Troubleshoot and resolve technical and software issues efficiently to minimize downtime.Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, cloud environments, and email systems for optimal performance and cybersecurity.Manage Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and Google Workspace platforms.Support digital infrastructure for Gold Leaf’s websites, CRMs, and marketing automation tools.Stay current with Salesforce platform updates and new features to ensure continuous improvement.
    Digital Marketing & Media SupportCollaborate with the Creative Services team to design branded materials and digital assets for internal and external campaigns.Support the setup and maintenance of marketing tools including email platforms, social media scheduling systems, and analytics dashboards.Assist with SEO optimization, website content management, and performance tracking across digital channels.Collect and analyze digital marketing metrics to help drive insights and improve engagement strategies.Maintain brand consistency across all digital assets, adhering to Gold Leaf’s visual identity and tone.Support video production, digital signage, and multimedia presentations when needed.
    Employee Support & TrainingEnsure all employees’ technology and marketing tool needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.Develop and deliver training programs to improve staff proficiency in IT systems and digital marketing platforms (e.g., Canva, HubSpot, Adobe Creative Cloud).Lead IT onboarding for new employees and ensure seamless access to internal communication tools.Act as a trusted advisor, helping teams use technology to enhance productivity and marketing impact.
    Security & ComplianceEnsure all IT and marketing systems adhere to Gold Leaf’s security protocols and data protection policies.Monitor for unauthorized system access or data misuse.Follow best practices established by senior IT leadership when addressing issues related to cybersecurity or compliance.
    Inventory & Resource ManagementOversee IT and creative hardware inventory (computers, tablets, cameras, peripherals).Track software and marketing tool licenses to ensure compliance and cost efficiency.Assist in planning IT and digital marketing budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
    Data, Analytics & CommunicationsCollect, interpret, and communicate data insights from both operational and marketing perspectives.Design and brand internal reports, dashboards, and communications using Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite.Support internal campaigns through technology and analytics integration, ensuring a unified message across digital touchpoints.

    Qualifications:Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support or digital marketing operations (preferably both).
    Technical ExpertiseStrong knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems with practical troubleshooting experience.Familiarity with website content management, SEO principles, and digital analytics tools.Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or other design software.Working knowledge of social media platforms, email automation, and marketing analytics tools.Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving IT issues efficiently while supporting creative workflows.
