Working within a small, globally distributed team, the role requires a proactive and autonomous approach to managing database operations, supporting development teams, and contributing to strategic projects such as data warehouse setup and cloud migration.

Main Responsibilities
Administration
Monitor the production database clusters to identify bottlenecks, perform maintenance operations, and optimize inefficient queries.
Development
Work closely with the development team to provide development environments, review queries before release to production, and promote coding best practices.
Projects
Take part in projects such as the setup of a new data warehouse, Master Data Management, and server consolidation.
Azure
Take part in the assessment and migration of on‑premises servers, develop Azure Data Factory, and participate in Azure data platform administration.
As the Azure migration progresses, your role will shift from on‑premises DBA to full Azure DBA.
Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 6 years of SQL Server DBA experience.
Hands‑on experience with database monitoring and maintenance operations.
Knowledge of SQL Always On / Windows clustering.
Deep knowledge in T‑SQL coding and query fine‑tuning.
Experience in server and database optimization.
Highly motivated and committed team player with strong sense of autonomy.
Experience with databases assessment and migration to Azure.
Experience with Azure database and managed instance administration.
Good level of English, written and spoken.
