    The Halifax Grammar School (Grammar) is seeking a qualified and experienced IB Individuals and Societies Middle and Senior School Teacher for a full-time position beginning in August 2026, reporting to the Heads of Senior and Middle Schools. The successful candidate will teach courses in MYP and/or DP based on experience, qualifications, needs, and interests. The candidate will be adept at monitoring, measuring, documenting, and reporting on learning. They will also be a collaborative member of both the Middle and Senior Schools and will contribute to the development of the curriculum and teaching experiences at Grammar. They will support student well-being, participate in co-curricular commitments of the school, and be reliable in exercising their daily responsibilities.
    Qualifications:Bachelor of Education Nova Scotia Teaching license or equivalentKnowledge and understanding of the International Baccalaureate programmes, including knowledge of the MYP and DP course content and curriculum frameworkCommitment to universal design for learning, inclusion and fostering a supportive learning environmentThree to five years of teaching experience in the Diploma Programme is required The IB Programme and CAIS Leadership training are considered assets
