Purpose of the Role:The Warehouse Associate role is critical in supporting all functions of warehouse operations at Hive Fulfillment. The Warehouse Associate’s duties and responsibilities involve executing client SLAs and completing day-to-day operational tasks within the warehouse.
Principle Responsibilities: Safety & CleanlinessSupporting Hive Fulfillment in maintaining a safe working environment for all employees, contractors, suppliers, customers & guests that work with Hive Fulfillment whether on-site or virtually.Hive Fulfillment Inc. defines a safe working environment as one free from physical hazards that pose a risk of bodily harm or injury/death as well as an environment free of harassment, abuse or behavior/conduct that could result in harm to a person’s mental health and wellbeing.Ensuring the Hive Fulfillment premises are in a clean & organized state throughout the working day. Order FulfillmentPerforming eCommerce order fulfillment duties such as picking products, packing & scanning orders into boxes, affixing carrier waybills & staging orders for parcel carrier pickups.Performing B2B order fulfillment duties including picking products, packing & scanning into boxes (when required), staging orders & affixing any compliance related labels or documentation, and auditing shipments to ensure pick accuracy & compliance accuracy.The Warehouse Associate will also be responsible for ensuring drivers that arrive at the Hive Fulfillment warehouse for pickup are loaded with the correct goods & provided the proper associated documentation.Any signed copies of BOLs must be promptly brought to the attention of the admin team once a driver has been loaded and has left the facility. Receiving & Inventory ControlOffloading, inspecting and receiving of client products into the Hive Fulfillment WMS (inclusive of returned goods).Putting away received client goods into racked, floor loaded or pick bin locations.Performing cycle counts when required on client goods & supporting Hive Fulfillment’s year-end inventory count. Projects & New Lines of BusinessHive Fulfillment is a growing business and as we grow, the likelihood that we will expand our service offers is quite high. The Warehouse Associate is expected to support and perform any new duties that arise from the growth of the business.Hive Fulfillment supports projects from time to time upon request from our Clients. The Warehouse Associate is expected to support and execute any such projects.
